Thanks! I had no idea! Way before my time! However, I remember seeing an old super 8 movie of Deep Throat at a vitage store that had all kind of stuff. But that stuff can't even begin to compare to the new Wicked Girls Dolls by Abyss. I'm so excited that someone actually did it! I'm not at all surprised that it was REALDOLL. They so rock the world! I can't wait to see them. Hell, I might even buy one just to have one! They are going to be great collectors pieces for sure for doll lovers and art collectors too. I wonder what else Realdoll has in store for us at AVN! This is like a freaking second Christmas! Love it! Love it! Love it!

Anyway, is Marilyn Chambers the one that did the move deep throat on the old super 8's? I saw something about her dying not to long ago and that deep throat was her biggest and best remembered film.

Yea, I thought so too, but they've gone silent. But, Realdoll did it and has done it well without saying a damn thing about it! They got the "BIG WOW" and blew all of us away and they deserve it! I can't wait to see them and all the new stuff they must have this year! I still can't get over this news! Realldoll pulled off the biggest news this year since the release of the RD2's! They got it goin' on for sure!

I might be wrong (ok, it happens) but I think the celebrity dolls they were talking about were like movie and TV stars as the nature of the product wouldn't be good marketing for them. At least that is what I would understand it to be.

Realdoll doing the "First Licensed Dolls in the World" most likely took a year or more to iron out the details and then get the dolls into production. Nobody could get a doll out in a matter of months without all the designing, engeneering, prototypes and test marketing in a short amount of time. Since Realdoll had the dolls to being with the process must have been a lot easier but still took time for all the legal issues and final details to be agreed upon.

With this new WICKED line, I can only guess that we're going to continue to see more fantastic things from Abyss/Realdoll and that Matt M is going to keep reaching to new heights that will blow us all away.

It looks like Wicked went ahead and posted this. Abyss was planning on announcing the news at the AVN show in Las Vegas. Initially the doll will only be available as a full doll but faces only are a possibility in the future. We'll make sure that TDF gets one of the first photos of the new Wicked Real Doll Feel free to leave all your questions for Matt regarding the Wicked Real Doll. I'll make sure I get them all answered.

So that means Abyss is going to make new wicked dolls probably in the RD-2s and the people who have presently have the most recent RD-2s are stuck with what there is presently avaiable on the RD-2 list. OH excuse me, if you want one of those wicked faces you will have to pay 6500 dollars just to get the face. Sounds pretty unfair to the people who presently already has the recent RD-2s

I want to ask Abyss one question. Suppose they make the wicked doll in the RD-2 . So you buy it as a first time, the wicked doll RD-2 . Now the guy who bought the wicked doll RD-2 doll has the privledge of buying the existing faces on the RD-2 list where the people who previously bought the RD-2 cant buy the wicked faces. I guess you will have to pay another 6500 dollars to be privileged like the first time buyers

markaudess speculates (see near the top of this thread) that, with licensing fees added, the price could be much higher than 6500. Sounds reasonable.

The basic idea is probably that you are getting the whole actress, not just her face. Maybe as part of the agreement Matt gets to scan them? Whatever. But selling faces only would probably require a whole new round of negotiations and another licensing agreement.

Abyss has enough to do for now. They still need to make my Paula!

They could sell the wicked faces only but at a higher cost so the people from wicked face gets thier fare share. I dont know how much more they would put the price on the wicked face. Abyss says in the near future they will make new faces for the RD-2 list. Well they have been saying that for a long time now and they have not produced it yet.So good luck on waitng for your Paula. And bad news for me that I am stuck with the exsisting faces they have for the RD-2 for probaly a long time

You statment is unfare to R/D 1st no price was given from R/D.
2ND Is Joe did say the faces will be avalable.
You could not buy Boy Toy faces with out buying there doll.
So why should Wicked/and Real Doll just come out and offer faces at 1st.

Its a business. Real Doll and Wicked geting together is like anew doll coming out. I am sure after a set no# of dolls are sold the faces will be avalable.

But this is all speculation. We will see soon.
