Poseable tongue
Poseable tongue
The wires don't work very well as they twist. Is there something else that can be used?

Re: Poseable tongue
Brilliant idea! Tried it out but instead of cutting the tongue in half I heated the aluminum foil in the soldering iron and slowly pushed the foil in (in order not to bend the foil from force). Experiment not 100% successful but I think this is a track to follow. I might try cutting the tongue and sealing it like you said since in my way the foil wants to slide back out (unless the end is sealed...hmmm). The foil can take a lot of flexing so breakage is not a major concern like with aluminum wire. Just had a thought. Aluminum window screen might work and the TPE should melt into the holes thereby binding the screen inside the tongue. Window screen can take a lot of bending before it breaks and it might possibly be stiff enough if formed correctly.UpperLower wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 5:26 am The only thing I can think of would take a precision cut to split the tongue in top and bottom halves. Use foil since it’s pliable and can be shaped to fit in between the halves and seal the halves together.
Hmmm, wonder if aluminum screen can be used for other things like facial expressions, TPE reinforcement, etc.? Or could plastic mesh screen be used for reinforcement in repairs? Wouldn't stretch much but could possibly act like rebar in concrete and relieve a lot of tension in the TPE.

Staying away from brass because of the copper content. Not sure if brass degrades TPE like copper but just wanting to be on the safe side. Aluminum doesn't have the degradation problem and neither does stainless steel but stainless is much harder to work with.

That would definitely make it stiffer to insert into the tongue. The only thing I'm not sure of is how much flexing it could take before breaking. The aluminum foil can take a lot of flexing but isn't very stiff unless folded over many times, which then makes it too stiff. From my experiments so far bending the tongue is a little difficult while it is in the mouth and this is why I'm wondering about aluminum screen. Of course all of this is open to experimentation and maybe someone can come up with a better method.

Placed the screen on the backside of the tongue and pressed down hard with the hot shaft of the soldering iron, doing one small section at a time and letting that cool a little before moving onto the next section. The TPE binds into the mesh very very well. The screen method (although a bit more work and skill) allows for a lot more flexibility and is easier to pose while in the mouth. The tongue can also be twisted for a more realistic look.
I think the ideal way to do this would be to cast a tongue with the mesh inside but that requires quite a bit of skill and this is supposed to be as simple as possible.
As for blowjobs, remember there are little wires which can poke out. BJ at your own risk!
