Sorry, glasses are from amazon, but it's likely just the same product that comes from SHEIN / Ali-Express (on an Amazon reseller). Here are where I got the glasses:

Experimented with makeup for the first time on the Doll!

Although I'm not happy with the results, I want to post my progress regardless ^_^'

I attempted to create a specific makeup look, as if the Doll was cosplaying 'Tsuyu Asui' (Froppy the Frog Girl) from MHA. I don't have any outfits that directly match the character, so I put her in one of my old crossdressing outfits for some quick photos

I used green eyeshadow, and white for underneath her eyes (in an attempt to make her eyes look larger / anime). I tried painting the edges of her lips to 'elongate' her mouth, (but I was not happy with the outcome). The 'rosy' cheek circles were also too harsh.

The eyeshadow pallete was metallic, which was too 'gaudy' for this look. Next time I will use non-metallic makeup, with more colors to better 'blend' with her skin tone.

Wig is from SHEIN, outfit from Amazon (many years old)

I can see You are having mirror next to the bed for checking hairstyle, I think so.
The "Tsuyu Asui" is having special kind of glasses. Like for the welding or its another kind of glasses. Do you want to find that kind of glasses for your doll and experiment a litle bit with them?
When you put make up You wasnt feel like girl just for the moment?
Why your charachter is puting out the tongue. Becouse of the tiredness?

I'll not likely buy any accurate goggles / cosplay any time soon to do this character again, as I'd rather pick a less complicated / less expensive character so I can practice with less risk.

I'm used to applying makeup, as I have some experience already, so I didn't feel much at all ^_^'

She has a long tongue because she has 'frog-like' powers

Disaster today as the dolls left arm has broken at the elbow.

I had her posed on the edge of the bed as I dressed her and she seemed fine.

When I grabbed her elbow to prep her position for lifting, I noticed it was suddenly swinging loose, and in the wrong direction!

I gently swung it back to a 'normal' place and it appeared to 'lock' back to its usual self... until I attempted a standard arm bend and her elbow snapped, leaving her forearm all floppy...

There was a point earlier in the day where I noticed her elbow joint felt slightly 'looser' than usual when posing (although still held it's position just fine at that time, so I didn't really think much more of it...)

Can anyone suggest what my next steps should be towards her repair? TIA

You should wait for the loosed joints option for SLE

Oh dear!

Have you contacted your vendor or Zelex? I don’t believe you did anything wrong? Could it had been a manufacturing fault?

I'm honestly not sure, I don't know how to tell. I contacted my vendor and they are contacting Zelex on my behalf

I wish my big mirrored wardrobe faced the bed. I'm nervous about the wig travelling too

Edit: I'm sorry to hear your doll's injured. I commented jovially off the quoted post. It's looking like a thousand things could go wrong no matter what you choose or how much you pay coming from a newb. I was really close to buying SLE based on what I read here hoping troubles would be sparse. But, looks like a crapshoot

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and will promptly compensate you with a new body. Additionally, we have taken extensive measures to address such issues by optimizing the framework. As a result, the products now available are more durable in the arm area compared to before.
