Do-it-yourself doll made of textiles, padding polyester and plastic tubes
Re: Do-it-yourself doll made of textiles, padding polyester and plastic tubes
I've been making dolls myself, and it's so interesting and inspiring to see ideas and techniques of other dollmakers.

I’m also interested in other people’s search for ways to make girlfriends for themselves with their own hands and from scrap materials, but in the end, we can talk and actively discuss and comment on our “research” work in this craft in personal communication. And in these “Inventors Corner” topics open to the public, publish only the final results of your work. However, everyone can do as they please.

There is even a (humble and polite) member building a cloth doll live at this very moment.

thanks of course. but it sounds too loud. in any case, the current level of my skill does not fall under such a definition. I have seen disproportionately better work in the field of handicraft production of textile dolls. It would be nice for me to catch up to the level of these works. but my laziness and inconstancy interfere with this.

Mister Designer I thank you for sharing your work, it's awesome. Thank you also for sharing photos of your girls, inspiration and working method. If you allow me to ask you a question, how do you integrate the butt sewing pattern? Could you share the method? What if it were possible for you to share a photograph of your girls' butts so that i could observe the development of the sewing? I ask you because like many, we try to develop our own creations however I have had a lot of problems with the development of the butt part and I require some help. Thank you and all the members for reading.

Of course, I will share these photos of butts (and I have already posted photos of the patterns on which I sew bodies). I warmly welcome such questions on the merits of the methods and techniques of sewing dolls, and not empty compliments out of politeness. Although my homemade fabric girls' butts don't look as good or believable as their tits. And in general, this is not the best way to sew believable butts for dolls. And the body in general. There is a paid master class on the Internet, for dollars, in which the body of the doll (especially the tits and ass) is sewn more optimally and would look more believable (after some modification, of course) . But this master class is quite expensive for me since I live in a country where the local currency in which I receive financing is much inferior to the dollar in value on the foreign exchange market.

I like the butt solution that you use in your creations, it is neater and more aesthetic than the one used in a sewing pattern that I bought online, basically it is adding butt cheeks to the torso, it is not very aesthetic or simple to make but it partly works.
I've seen some examples like the ones shown in the last photos of the post and many more examples for quite some time and yours is more understandable in terms of its manufacture.
Once again I thank you for sharing Mister Designer

For a long time I have been around the forum looking for ideas, also on the internet.
I have only made a few attempts because I still do not have enough skill with the sewing machine, I had some problems understanding the development of the seams but above all my reckless impatience
Even so, I have only made two dolls and they are no longer with me. I destroyed them because I was not satisfied with the result. I am still searching and learning.
For the first doll I used a free pattern (nunodoll), it was my first attempt
Then I purchased a pattern from an online store, my second attempt. I do have photos of that and I'm going to show them, share them with you to get comments and feedback.
I also destroyed this doll because I was not satisfied with the result, I am now working on modifying the sewing pattern, especially boobs and butt.
Without saying more, here are the photos

I made the body of my very first doll using these patterns 5 years ago. Later I modified the pattern by adding hands to the details.

Re: Do-it-yourself doll made of textiles, padding polyester and plastic tubes
perhaps. unless you take into account that she is armless. In general, this body pattern is not quite complicated. Just right for a beginner puppeteer. Although I was puffing rather loudly and swearing out of habit while I was drawing and cutting out the material on it. I didn’t sew the parts myself then. I gave them to the studio. But then, after calculating the losses, I decided that it would be cheaper for me to buy a machine and learn how to sew myself. I realized that I won’t stop at the first doll. I really enjoyed sleeping with such a light and soft doll in my arms. Like other subsequent dolls, I did not make a vagina for her. It's just something like a sofa cushion or a soft toy. But anyone who wants can sew a fabric tunnel or sleeve for the vagina into such a doll’s crotch. There is another inventor here on the forum. Apparently he is Japanese. judging by his politeness and small apartment. So he sews his dolls with vaginas and legs that move at the hips. You can ask him about working on these elements of the pupae's body.
