I'm looking forward to advancements in the TPE material used (S-TPE)
and
advancements in silicone. (Tayu and SLE)

Of course, if y'all keep using those shitty old skeletons, there's no point in buying anything.

I agree with RevJack, many new to the lifestyle get sucked into the appearance and beauty nearly as much as the external feel of TPE or silicone.

However the skeleton is where all too many dolls still have failures and shorten lifespan of the investment. Everything else is directly built off skeletons including weight saving measures, or supports other new innovations like sucking, heating or standing.

Thin hinges, screws that loosen, wires that break or poor welding are the usual suspects. Ball and socket joints should be more common at this point as well as lightweight composite materials can have both tensile strength and some flexibility to withstand falls, bends or poor leverage.

Skin material will always have its advantages and disadvantages between TPE and silicone, but each skin will need a good solid core to adhere to and a skeleton to support joints. We would love to keep our gurls for more than the average 2-4 years without major failures. I hope the manufacturers can continue to innovate towards longevity as well as lasting beauty

Voted for silicone!
And I totally agree with RevJack and SinsuaLuvr. The skeleton is still the weakest point of all dolls. Not talking about SMdoll here but all manufacturers.
