SERVER ADMINISTRATOR NEEDED for TDF

We are sad to announce that Phreddie has retired his position as 2nd server admin at TDF.
We are looking for a volunteer with the following experience to join our ranks and work aloingside our existing server support staff.

Required qualifications:
- Linux
- Apache and php
- because of the many modifications some programming skills and familiarity with PHP, mySQL and Javascript would be a big asset

Also experience with the following aps would be helpful:
- phpBB
- Coppermine Gallery
- Drupal

How many servers? One Main and One Backup
Physical, virtual or hosted? Physical out of Montreal

How much time is/would be involved per week/month? This is hard to answer. Unless something breaks, demand is pretty much minimal and we do have our hosting server support to handle hardware and software issues. If workload increases for any reason we can always post for another team member.

What Linux distribution(s) (each has its own nuances)?Right now we are looking at end of life for our CentOS and liikely try to stay as compatible as possible. AlmaLinux 9 is a possibility but we are flexible depending on the specializng of our server admin at the time of migration. We are running WHM and Cpanel on all our domains.

I have no problem maintaining the servers - linux for basic stuff but don't have much actual web programming. I am an old OS/network guy of > 25 years. I can help as much as needed. I WFH so I have spare time.
