Hmmm...to my eyes the S-TPE looks like the waist is smaller and the boobs a full cup larger.

Is there consensus on which has a softer feel between S-TPE and Ultra soft?

That is a good question, but if it is your first doll, I would not recommend going ultra soft. Ultra soft TPE is more fragile and will tear more easily. On the other hand, seems like S-TPE is quite resilient.

Anyway, was just calling heads up. Ultra soft is more fragile, so keep that in mind with all the other parameters.

WM Dolls has stated that the Ultra soft is the softest then comes regular TPE and then S-TPE. Ultra soft is the most easiest to tearing too. S-TPE being the most durable.

Thanks for sharing this insight. For some reason, I was thinking that S-TPE is softer. So we're losing some of the famed softness for more durability.

I really wish I could get my hands on dolls before buying so I can know better what this all feels like.

The formula for "regular" TPE was also changed at some point. A doll I bought in 2019 was a lot firmer than the same model in 2023.

Body material:

TPE S-TPE, the newest innovation from WM, offers enhanced softness, flexibility, and durability. In terms of softness: Ultra soft TPE > S-TPE > Normal TPE.

OK... S-TPE offers enhanced softness, but it's not as soft as previous regular TPE? So it's less soft, but more flexible? Confused...

It is soft enough, so soft that you won't notice any difference, and firm enough that it can withstand a lot; flexibility is softness. Your confusion should therefore be over.

Thanks! With a doll search, less confusion is always helpful.

I wonder if anyone wants to be a hero and post videos showing the "squeezability" of TPE, S-TPE, and ultra-soft TPE!
