Attempting to make a purchase. Need to discuss options. Please respond here or to the PM that I sent you.

(A couple of years ago, I received a damaged doll and can now afford to replace her, at the discounted price quoted based on the damaged condition of the last one.)

Hi, may i ask how damaged your previous doll was? TDF crew might be able to help u get in contact with the seller and help solving this.

Doll is beyond repair -- certainly at this point.

Got damaged in transit. (I think that UPS placed the box wrong-side-up.)

Doesn't matter which side the box is doll should be safe. I wouldn't purchase again from same manufacturer who can't ship a doll safely and secured against standard damages during transit.

If the doll was damaged in transit to the point its beyond repair, you should not have to pay for a new doll. You should get a replacement for free.

It's damaged beyond repair because of my failed attempts at repair.

Still -- your point is taken. I don't think that I should have to pay for a doll delivered in damaged condition.

Sino disagrees, however -- and wants compensation for a replacement doll.

Further damage from modification pretty much voids any hope for a replacement. Once the doll is damaged from shipping you should have taken photos to email the manufacturer and left the doll alone.

Yeah. The first thing one must do is check the packaging. If the box is completely shit you should just say to the courier, take it back. It's too damage.
If you want to risk it and see how the damage is inside, then open the box and film or make pictures of everything.
Then take out the doll and grade her 100 percent. Check everything!!!
Only then, after all of the above, can you say / email the company or vendor and also give them proof.

Correct. Still nothing. CNY is not a viable excuse. I've been trying to reach Sino for months at this point. They're just ignoring me (and my vendor, apparently).

I know waht doll I'm not going to buy ever. It's a shame really since Sino have some nice dolls and this new series very interesting, but this kind of behaviour towards a customer no thanks
