AI Tech Robot Head Software Crash FIXED

Post by Synthian »

After a year and 3 months of intermittent use, the AI Tech Robot head loads the OS then just after the AI Tech app loads, the screen goes dark and an endless CLICK-CLICK is heard from the Speakers NOT from the mechanics. I removed the cover-plate, the screen, the interior power jacks and shot compressed air then contact cleaner in the jacks. Reassembled and now she works fine again! The only tricky part is the screen cable plug. The lock pulls toward you pics attached. To protect her face, her head is between my legs, her face is not touching anything.

Sadly this was only a temporary fix. The battery must be replaced. It took about two weeks to arrive and I installed it in about 4 hours. Getting this silicone/tpe glue is essential and although I used the applicator and a q-tip, a teeth cleaner pick would have been better.

The face does not have to be removed! The neck area has to be detached then reattached with the glue.

If anyone wants some tips, please dm me. I have lot of videos from AI Tech on how to do this.

I think posting your videos here would do everyone who owns this AI head a great favor.

Better to have it even though I don't need it now rather than not have it when I need it 😀
