I can’t believe that both a manufacturer and a vendor could just abandon a customer with a 4-month-old $2500 product which is broken. It’s a really shitty thing to do. I can’t think of a single other instance where ‘tough shit’ would have been the answer. I’ve been following this thread because I was seriously thinking about ordering. Unsurprisingly - EB won’t be getting my money.

1. socket wrench head for that nut
2. epoxy glue for metal
3. a bit of drilling work
4. may be some turning work

Epox I can buy and I have metal drill so drilling onto metal isn't a problem.

It will be my last doll from them too. Really a shame since I had some dolls in minds.

THIS is the point, I'm really disappointed on the customer service of this industry, also I'd like to point, no offence to anyone it's just my thought, that many people here, when such problems occurs with any brand, simply start suggesting how to fix orrepair it, not considering a person could have no equipment or manual expertise.

Problems might occur during the lifespam of a doll and repair might be needed but after 4 months being left with no warranty on such an issue is really awful considering one spent something around 2.000,00 USD for this product. Had it happened to me it would be a serious problem and I'd consider it as if I've been robbed...

Made this drawing in a hurry in the morning. Here explanation. :)

1. tube on the left side in your video
2. socket wrench you will put inside the tube (may need some work on lathe or any other similar process)
3. nut on the right side of your video
4. drill
Procedure:
1. prepare wrench head (may be on lathe) to be put inside the tube
2. the head of the wrench should fit snugly onto the nut ( preferable)
3. file all sharp edges
4. when 1,2,3 are ready put the glue on the nut and fit wrench head on the nut
5. when the glue hardens put the glue on the wrench head and fit the tube on it
6. for better fix drill a hole through the tube-wrench head-nut for any metal pin
7. put the pin inside this hole
Remark: i don't know whether nut and stud are hardened (that can make processing troublesome). Check it with metal file.

I just tested and the bolt size is 16mm and the socket I have has 2,5cm outer diameter and 3cm height. 2,5cm diameter fits nicely leavyn I quess under half millimeter. I go out and buy socket for this purpose I don't want to use my good tools for this since it will be inside the doll forever. ANyways thought to let ya know the diameters of the pipe which is 25mm - 26mm and the bolt size which is 16mm.

Hope these solutions work out for you, brother. No one should have to be stuck dealing with a faulty product in only after 4 months of ownership and normal use. Hopefully the future vendor of choice does a better job servicing you with your future dolls.
Currently Deciding on:
Elsa Babe's 160cm Medium (Sakai) or 148cm Large (Takanashi)
Bezlya 2.1 155cm / Holly? Maybe?
Firefly Diary 159cm / Lian
Irontech's 153cm / S24 Miyuki

Thanks :)

I will update the progress of the repair when I have time to do it. I also have metal saw so I can buy some metal rod that I can use to lock the bone pipe to the bolt after I have first drilled a hole through them. I also propably going to buy epox and hose clamp to lock the metal rod lock in place and then cover the whole are with epox. The wrench socket costs around 7 euros and epox around 20 euros. So about 30 euros will go to the expenses materials. The epox will be critical on this since so much force is going to be around the bolt and the lock rod so I have to find strongest possible metal epox. I have already found few, but will do some research if I can find out which one will the best for this.

I already have drill with metal drill set and metal saw. Also have metal file and other tools like pliers so I don't have to buy any tools to do this job.

I have also Pm with Elsa Babe and they have promised me new doll so thanks for that Elsa Babe. I'm still trying to fix this one though since it would be a waste to throw it away not at least trying to fix it first.
