That sounds costly and incredibly inefficient.TJ_Foxx wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 7:51 am I am aware heads & faces are being sent to CA for makeup by the makeup artist who worked in San Marcos - who didn't relocate to Vegas. That is not a facility by any means. The two sets of eyelids I just got for Tasha were sent to her. I was thrilled because the same artist did Tasha's custom eyebrows. I couldn't be happier with the way they turned out.

It kind of seems like a smarter move, if they have the capability, would be to split production and spin the cocks off into a separate company since they're getting the vast bulk of the orders. I'd hate to see the whole thing come down.Commish wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 8:18 amWhen I wrote my comment the P word was in my mind but I stopped short of saying it, but you aren't wrong. Would Abyss have the funds to fulfill that huge backlog if no more orders came in? If not, that's the very definition of it. Eventually it catches up to you and it never ends well. I hope they succeed and can find some qualified workers going forward.jca wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 4:23 pm Unless they need the money from new orders to continue to make payrolls and such (which would mean accidentally putting themselves into a ponzi), they really ought to just put a pause and freeze on said orders and take some time to breathe and fulfill what they've got. A backup that long is precarious.

Re: Current production time.
Hello (redacted),
Thank you for your patience in awaiting our response. Unfortunately, as you may or may not know, and as many of our customers have recently been informed, we are and have been experiencing significant delays in our production output.
We recognize that delays and misjudged production lead times are very frustrating. Please know that you are not alone in this. Most of our customers are currently receiving this very same update.
Our team has been diligently processing orders, though admittedly not as quickly as we would like. This past year has presented us with significant challenges, including staffing shortages and material delays. We truly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
However, there is good news on the horizon. Thanks to the recent acquisition of Abyss Creations, our company, we have received additional funding which has enabled us to start enhancing our sales and production teams significantly. This boost will help us make a major push in production and sales correspondence. We are committed to completing and dispatching ALL existing orders, including yours, within the next six months. Thus meeting the new leadership's production and sales directives.
Due to the intricacies of our production process, providing a more specific timeframe is, unfortunately unrealistic and would likely lead to further frustration down the line. As we move forward with our new management, sales team, and production push we prefer to set realistic expectations from the outset to avoid any potential misunderstandings in the future. Having said that, due to when you made your purchase, your order will likely be in the first 50% of that estimate.
We are more than willing to share detailed insights into the "how" and "why" of our production delays and plans if you are interested. Please let us know if you would like to receive this information, and we would be happy to provide it.
As mentioned, we understand that waiting even longer, lack of communication, or even inaccurate production estimates is very upsetting, and we appreciate your patience thus far. We are confident that you will be very pleased with your product once it arrives within the next 6 months.
Thank you again for your continued understanding and support.

It's nice to see some transparency. But considering the backlog is large, I don't see the 6 month timeframe as an accurate possibility, but I do hope you can get your doll within that timeframe.dylan10200125 wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 10:13 pm I asked about how my doll was coming along. This is good news, and know things are going to get better and improve for Abyss. I am saving up for another male real doll. My realdoll I have now will get some company in the future so I can have two real dolls.dylan10200125 wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 10:13 pm I asked about how my doll was coming along. Re: Current production time.
I don't have a Realdoll, but have been thinking about Harmony AI for a long time, now a penny stock, I bought about 1000 hopefully their AI will improve and integrate something more like Replika AI with an onboard speaker and please offer more than just a Scottish accent. A Scottish friend of mine once described her accent as "separated by a common language".
