Review
The MLW 60cm doll is a fun sized companion and art piece that will bring charm to your living space, and suction to your lower place. Her small size and negligible weight make her a breeze to pose and move about, and she still maintains a surprising level of realism and visual detail. This, combined with her being able to wear a sizable selection of 1/3 size BJD clothes, makes her an excellent photography model and display piece.
“But what about the bonus hole?” you may ask. Well that’s the impressive part. Despite this tiny package, they still managed to make enough space for a usable love hole. While she certainly can’t take the same beating you would give a full size doll, she’ll still handle most of it, and she’ll do so with a firm grip and good suction. When I initially placed her in my lap and looked upon myself I wondered, “How in the hell is this supposed to work?” But it turns out that with enough lube, anything is possible.
“Alright, but what are the downsides?” Well, I have noticed a few things, though they are quite small. First are the eyes. The eyes are sort of semicircular with raised cone-like protrusions coming off the irises and they sit flat against the back of the eye sockets. The design is honestly quite bizarre and I’m not sure what they were trying to accomplish. With them being flat on the back, the eyes cannot be moved or adjusted in any way, causing her to always stare blankly off into the distance, and the protrusions on the front of the eyes actually seem to push out the eyelids slightly, giving her more of a surprised/scared look if you don’t adjust it carefully. I think a better solution would be a design similar to Aotume’s eyes where they print the design underneath a convex glass disc, which causes the eyes to always be looking directly at you. I might see about buying or making some replacement eyes for her in the future to resolve this issue.
She also does not seem to have shrugging shoulder joints, which does limit her posability a bit, but this is understandable considering her small size. I will also likely be careful about how much I use her love function, as while she did hold up surprisingly well to such an invasive object, I did notice a very small tear after the first use, and I’d like to keep her in top shape for pictures as much as I can (though fingering feels surprisingly good and it quite fun with her).
I do, however, find her material to be quite nice. I’d say it’s a good middle softness silicone, with her being nicely squishable without being able to feel down to her skeleton. I do tend to notice some mystery pressure/puncture marks appear on her occasionally, but a bit of kneading in the area pulls them right out.
Overall, I find myself liking her a lot more than I had originally anticipated. She just gives off a charming aura and is fun to hang around with. Her size makes her supremely portable and I can see myself taking her with me on trips to provide company and a photography subject in places where it would be completely infeasible for a full size doll to go.
