SM Doll shipping info is confusing

Post by mason703 »

I ordered a SM doll and, according to FED EX, the tracking # is bogus. I contacted SM DOLL and they said it was stuck in local customs...since the 15 ?? I called FED EX and they said this is not an international tracking # and if it was, it would show all travel history, including customs delays. This "label Created" is no where NEAR a customs hub in California.
Anybody seen this before?

You may have already explored the option of contacting the company or vendor who sold you the SM Doll, but my guess is someone (factory, company, vendor rep) should know and be able to explain what is going on. Let us know how things turn out. Hoping for the best!

The help forum is about how to use the forum, technical questions, improvement ideas, etc. Therefore I moved this topic.

Maybe this is an option for you: How to solve an issue with your seller

Hmm, I don't know that this is a scam. This is basically how all of my doll deliveries from China have gone. They create the Fedex shipment when they ship the doll from the China factory, but it doesn't end up in FedEx's hands until it reaches the states. So the shipment order is created, which is what you see there, and it will start updating tracking when Fedex gets the package -- probably in a couple of weeks. All of my overseas dolls sat in that label created status for 10-14 days or so.

I think if you purchased from a reputable vendor you should be fine.

Ok thank you. That makes more sense. FED EX was scaring me and SM is a very reputable company. Very confusing

Pretty sure I had this same issue from SM. Shipping was very confusing. Seems normal, wait it out.
