Kaley is gorgeous… and I love your outdoor shots! The realism of these Zelex dolls really agree with natural lighting. I hope to do some outdoor photography with mine in the near future.

Thanks, I don't have a fancy camera so the outdoor lighting helps. The weather around here is still pretty bad it will be awhile before I can take any more photos. Good luck with your outdoor pictures.

One year update( Plus a few new pictures first good weather of the year), I have had kaley for one year now in general still very happy.

Durability has been better than expected over all, except for one thing I will get into in a minute. I do wish the body painting would hold up better but I expected some fading. As far as the fading goes I have been fairly careful to keep her covered most of the time, she spends 85% of her time in bed as a sleeping companion so she is usually in an outfit like the one in the bottom picture to help avoid abrasions and avoid having to wash and powder her constantly. Kaley dose spend small amounts of time in bed nude, she can feel quite realistic when her bare skin is warm. The fading has occurred on basically only high wear aeras, I will list them in order of severity from most to least noticeable. Hands and knuckles,shoulders and back,bottom of arms,knees mostly the left one (it gets moved more often), bottom of butt,collar bone,tip of nose(from kissing),nipples. I believe most of this has been caused by changing her clothing or moving her joints while clothed.

Joints are next on the list, now I do move Kaley on an almost daily basis but as you can see from my photos I'm not a photographer so I don't really put her in any complex poses. Kaley has had several joint repairs, just from coming loose no breaks. first one was her neck started to become floppy from font to back, it was repaired by separating the silicon from the neck post and cutting away the tape around the joint and putting a wrench down the hole in the top of the neck and tightening the nut. SOMETHING TO NOTE I did order welded nuts on the skeleton clearly I didn't get them, now whether or not the joints would have loosened with them welded I don't know. Next the elbow joints came loose,cut a slit in the inside of the elbow were the seam is to gain access easy fix. Shoulder joint the one that would allow her to raise arms straight out to her sides, just the right side for now. To repair cut slit in armpit at the seam below the joint. All other joints no repair needed so far, knees pretty good loosened about 10-15% since new left more than right (left gets moved more) hip joints good only lossend about 5% and waist joint no noticable loosening but I am very careful to not move it very often.

Silicone durability, very good so far only a couple of dents from me probing around trying to find joint location for repair. No tearing at all only a few easily fixed finger pokes, hand skeleton has held up great so far.

Ok now for the one thing that surprised and disappointed me only a few weeks after receiving Kaley the stud on the bottom of both of her heads broke off very easily, I am not new to dolls and am very used to handling them with out braking them. on the plus side both my vender BCD and Zelex took great care of me very happy with service.

Kaley got a nice bright skirt for Easter, Great weather too. I had to spend a little time with her outside.
