Excellent write up, Excellent photos, excellent technique. Thank you for of it.
You have my utmost respect.

I have a breast reduction project in my near future. I am also worried about my lack of artistic modeling skills so am looking for ways to minimize visable seams. I find your approach interesting and well thought out.
My doll has solid breasts so our approaches will be different, and your experience will be well used in my approach.
Thank you again for sharing this with us.

Reverend Jack
Thanks for the kind words RevJack!

Glad to know there's another plastic surgeon in the room!

I have to admit, if I had to do it again, I would go with a simpler method. When I thought about it, it was too late for this one, I had already cut it off!
It's mainly because this doll is made of very soft TPE that I opted for this method. The skin is so malleable!

Do you have an idea of what method you will use? Are your doll's breasts very large and what type of TPE? If they are big enough, I can sketch you the other method I found to reduce and especially to lift the breasts.

I hope your project is a success and would love to follow along!
Cheers! :glou:
My approach? Reverend Jacks Tit-Flap approach to breast reduction (Tit-Flap trademark pending)
I have been looking into doing this as well. I have not accomplished the feat, only some experiments, but let me share what I have learned.

1) I absolutely suck donkey balls at smoothing large repairs so they look like cast skin.
You will see later how that is an important thing to remember, and it drives how I do the reduction. Since I want as nice a finish as possible, I am experimenting with tit-flaps.

Tit-Flaps!
If you slice into her tittles only at the crease (the underboob an almost half way up) and you make the cut follow the imaginary rib/chest curve, you have two tit-flaps.

Look at the curve of the chest, it matches the curve of the cut of your tit-flaps. So now recreate that same curve in your tit-flaps cut, only cut an inch higher/deeper into your tit-flap., but only up to the half-way centerline. In essence, reducing the thickness of your tit-flap.
Let them flop back down and viola! You have reduced the size of your breast. :multi:

Deflated Granny tits!
Yes, the nipple is now pointing down, I forgot to tell you that was going to happen. If you're into deflated granny tits, leave the nipple where it is seal it up and your done!
:glou: Hurray Granny Tits!!

If you followed the method above, the "peak" of the boob will be a bit higher (towards the shoulder) than before, we call that "perky"! That's because we didn't remove material above the tits centerline. (If this makes you sad, then you will need to cut a small wedge out of the tit-meat above the centerline, in essence extending you original cut above the centerline.)
Also, there is no cut on the top half of the boob. This is very important because...
1) I absolutely suck donkey balls at smoothing large repairs so they look like cast skin..
I TOLD you that would come up again.

New Nipples!
Yeah, yeah, you need new nipples, so go beg, buy or make some, Not that hard, I think I even published a topic when I made mine.
DO NOT CUT THE OLD NIPPLES OUT TO RELOCATE THEM! Why? Because that creates a huge scar and...
1) I absolutely suck donkey balls at smoothing large repairs so they look like cast skin.

Tit-Meat,
What I can not help with is smoothing out the inner tit-meat because I have not done that yet. My assumptions are that I will use a thick TPE paste to smooth or fill or rebuild while the tit-flap is still flappin. The hinge of the tit-flap may need to be slit at the edge and "darts" put in to improve the new curve. The outer edges of the tit-flap will probably have to be thinned and shortened (from the inside, in the tit-meat) so they lay down smooth where they meet the chest. Thin all you want, but don't cut the outer skin layer until the last possible second, you want it to be available to cover all the chest scarring and blend in. When it all lays smooth like I want it, I (think I will) glue the nipple on, and glue the tit-flap down with a thick TPE paste on hot-air warmed tit-meat.

This is unproven because I have not completed it, but I have chopped into a titty or two and this is the path I will follow for my project.

No donkeys have been harmed during the execution of the prior mentioned techniques. Although now one won't stop following me around.

Don't ask seagull, some things you just can't un-see, even if they are just images in your head.
I'm not proud of it, I just own up to it.

Reverend Jack
I'm relieved to know that all the donkeys are fine! :D

I think if the boobs aren't too big, your "Tit-Flap" method might work well. I had thought of a method that looks a bit like this but I found that my doll's breasts were much too big and that there was really too much "meat" to remove for the operation to be successful! She would have had grannies breasts for sure! But for a smaller chest, I think it's worth a try!

Do you have the mini iron? This is a game changer for getting beautiful scars. Before, I also struggled a lot with the scars, but now it's so much easier and it looks so much better! And you can repair many small imperfections just with this tool!

Thank you for describing your project and I hope everything goes as you wish and I would love to see pictures if you ever put them on any of your threads! Good luck !
Cheers! :glou:

Well.................we most definitely think artist and surgeon extraordinaire can now be added to your accomplishments. Extremely well done gogodolls. It is clear that you studied the procedure thoroughly before starting the operation. I will soon be doing some hand replacements and will draw inspiration from your clearly explained and executed breast reduction procedure. Thank you Sir for sharing and taking the time to explain your processes.
