Spirit gum is not really "glue", it is an sticky adhesive used to apply prosthetics, props and fake hair to humans. Commonly available, used a lot and cleans up with alcohol.
As long as the silicone is CLEAN, then it should be OK. But, as always, TEST FIRST.

My worry is actually the concern about the painted silicone body. That is if done right there should be no concern.

Meaning that if done right then they cleaned the body area well, spray painted on the body stuff with a tinted silicone as paint, let it set and bond to the underlying silicone, sprayed a sealer coat of clear over that, then finished with a powder material which bonded with the final silicone to kill the shine. That lasts and will not wear off.

Or did they just do a quick thin top coat single color to make it look pretty and said "good enough". In that case concern is warranted.

Here are some hanging full body shots. The 2-sided tape holding the merkin on didn't even last a week, so she is shaved for now.
No worries about damaging the skin with this stuff.

OK, so this is a very light doll for most. Yeah, i'm a crippled old man so it is very heavy for me.
Just some info for those with lifting limitations looking for light dolls.
Tayu lists the 148a body as 18kg (40lbs). Mine has no extra softness or gel stuff and comes in at 47lbs (21.3kg).

It's a pity that TAYU is promoting 148D and 161F only while they do almost no marketing for the other bodies. Maybe because the boobs of those others look too natural and not oversized ?? Just an educated guess ....

Yeah, Tayu is Art-doll's branding for the non-asian market so they are likely focusing on big boobs to get them into more countries. I would love this doll with broader shoulders and a non-sagging/drooping B-cup.

A warning about the feet, if it says "Standing feet hidden bolts" these are really non-standing feet. If you want standing feet make sure to ask for exposed bolts or hard feet. If there is no option for hard feet on the vendor's site ask them about it.

Anymore detailed pictures of that area? It's hard to get a good look at it on Tayu's site. It was like rolling the dice and hoping for the best. I've always been a fan of the smooth innie type style and after seeing your pictures I'm even more excited now!

That's because TDF got manufacturers and vendors scared about flat-chested dolls. Even if they have them and will sell them to you, they are not going to advertise on here... D4H/DH168/Piper (D4H makes dolls for all 3, except for DH168-EVO which is made by DH168) used to be on here but they chose to get out after the rules about child-like dolls. I can see both ways, some are justified as some DH168 dolls are literally small children, but others are not even if they are flat chested, depends on the heads they pair up with... There's a thread "Ginevra Says Hi" in Sanhui forum that's alive and well. The body is 145 flat-chested (not advertised anymore), but the face is of a young adult woman, so it's not banned.
