The Ann Summers stores of today cater more for females and can be found in UK shopping centres selling lingerie and mostly non phallic sex toys that can be shared by couples. A store favourite was the rabbit vibrator.

However since its launch in 1970 it has changed from being a standard sex shop. In those days Ann summers used to sell sex dolls like this under its name.

I was going to start with the model boxes of the classic blow up love dolls but apparently I have since found out that some appeared on the latex ones. Here is the Vanity latex doll box. The UK model is Katie Price AKA Jordan.

I can see the connection of the use of UK models in the production of vinyl dolls because of the UK's connection with China and Hong Kong.

But weren't latex dolls a product of Europe, why didn't they feature European models. Its a bit of a mystery to me!!

An oddity here, an early sex doll box that actually features the models image and real name.

Though Katie Price still does glamour modelling on her only fans page. She is also regularly on UK TV as a media personality. Here she is on YouTube.

Howdy

Having the Tak Shing/ Seven Creations - "Black Star" inflata babes for a number of years now - I can say they are great

I got mine from the UK via Amazon after my Tak Shing versions simply wore out and the Seven Creation versions were identical with the exception of the box art - the UK version was better as it showed the inflata babe thru the clear plastic window the USA version was all cardboard with a photo model on it

These were really good inflatable dolls - they had simple sleeve entries fore & aft - which as you get older makes the difference

Sadly these air babes also seem to be lost in time as the molds were in Hong Kong, so who knows their fate.........
