Review 158 Silicone with Isla head

Hello guys,

Thursday my Alexandra arrived, after being 7 weeks in transit.

I ordered her with the following options :
Head 02 Isla, implanted hair exactly like the attached promo pic, implanted eyebrows and lower lashes, skin tan, pubic hair, areola / labia color dark brown, areola size 3cm, finger bones, standing with bolts, body & vein makeup, soft butt, soft thigh.

I got almost all of the ordered options, more details later.

Let's start with how the doll was packed.
Standard card box, with small signs of mishandling.

Inside the box, no blanket for extra protection and a very stiff plastic foil, compared to the soft ones I know from my TPE's.

That plus the accessory bag lying on her knee resulted in minimal abrasion of the paint/protective coating on her kneecap.

Well, I don't like these screw on connectors and if you have a head with implanted hair you need 4 hands to attach the head properly. Two for the head and two to keep the hair out of the way. So the first modification was to build a quick connector out of a standard quick connector and an M8 bolt. Works and fit perfectly.
Note: the socket in the neck is not very deep, so the remaining M16 threads on the connector do not interfere.

with head. Mission accomplished.

Looking at the silicone, it's very soft where no foam core is behind it. The foam core is very thick, therefore the doll is really hard. Also the breasts are on the firmer side even they are gel filled. The nipples have an interesting mushroom shape. The breast shape itself is great.

Head

The eyes are moveable, without veins. I ordered implanted lashes, but the lower lashes are painted and the upper lashes are glued.

There is no oral function, the whole head is hard. But looks damned good and the hairstyle is mind blowing.
For shipping the factory simply made a ponytail, it would have been better if they had braided a plait. So the hair was tangled and it took me half an hour to detangle it.

Although I was very careful, hair for $30

Body

She has a real body texture and the body painting is perfect, finger- and toenails are glued on. The finger skeleton works smooth, no wires in the toes. Back joints are overtightend and both legs move for their own if she is lying on her back. She is able to stand, but it is difficult.

The head has a slightly different color and is a little bit shiny, even with powder.

Some mentioned her long neck, but the hole in the head is deep so it looks very naturally with the head fully equipped.

Seam lines
What seam lines? I'm deeply impressed, they're almost invisible.

Also very well done in the area of her private parts, I've seen worse on TDF.

Love holes

I think they will split when used. Compared to other silicone dolls they are tiny. Even when I took this picture, I was afraid it would tear. The material is very under tension and then inserting something with a diameter of 5 or 6 cm sooner than later leads to a disaster. And the butt hole is even smaller.

Oh, completely forgotten, seems as if she has a goose neck. It's one of the better designs though, it doesn't make any noise when you move your head.

I love the face and the body but it is so disappointing to see the love holes so tiny and so easy to tear. I suppose like they were saying this is an entry level doll and the price was very reasonable. You would of spent close to that on a used doll. I hope they improve this area and make a softer version soon. Movable jaw would be amazing. The face is very realistic and the body. The weight is Very good!

Nice review! I've had my 158 silicone for around a month now and my experience with her is pretty close to yours. I was thinking about doing a review, but not sure if I will. There are some things about this model that should be considered before purchase, especially at anything above the introductory promo price (approx. $1,7XX).

The soft butt on mine is very soft, comparable to my Siliko with soft butt option. Like you, I don't feel any difference in her thighs, they feel the same as the rest of her body. Like you mentioned, my doll's breasts are much firmer than expected for gel, the feel reminds me of solid TPE breasts.

In general (not YL exclusively) I think soft butt option feel is nice but not directly comparable to a real womans butt. They are soft to squeeze but slapping etc. will not produce rippling/jiggling. Soft butt does make seated posing more difficult because the body tends to roll on the butt, making it harder to balance in a pose.

I had issues with my order and have not gotten any response to email in over a month of waiting for a reply.

Gorgeous doll, even with the flaws you noted. Excellent review.

Is anyone actually still using gooseneck skeletons? That is odd and actually disturbing given that YL shares walls with WM and I haven't had a WM gooseneck since like 2018. That is absurd on any doll these days, let alone a silicone doll, unless it was specifically requested.

Well, as I said, it is a better model. It can hold the position almost exactly and bounces back only slightly. I've had much worse in my hands.

Meanwhile I got an answer from Eric, he want's to check with the factory. But we all know the answer, right?

But despite everything, an eye-catcher she is in any case. Now I just have to find time for new pictures.

But after reading I continue to feel encouraged to look only for TPE dolls. At least for the foreseeable future. These silicones look way too delicate for me and just too elaborate for the purpose. Sex! So before I´d consider buying one (for photo shooting only) I rather save for and work down my TPE doll list. What good are great looks if I always have to treat silicones like raw eggs. And my wallet agrees as well.

Silicone can be very durable with less required mantainence and more hygenic, also great for sex..but..silicone openings must be sized much larger than TPE to compensate for silicone's much lower elasticity, otherwise they will tear.

Re sex.. well, that I´ve to try out yet but I already have issues with TPE gals which are almost always too tight and have not so healthy inside textures. Lil Ragnar is very sensitive. If silicone is even worse than some my TPE experiences, then I see just a photo shooting doll. Not a luxury that I can afford anythime soon. Well... better durability....but accidents can always happen. I´ve some TPE repairing skills and small things go rather quickly. For silicone....IDK.
