Ta'rah - A Morning Meadow Romp

I managed to get my shit together pretty quickly, get some food in my belly and plenty of coffee. Mr Nibbles was bouncing around the Mansion like he was on fire and Ta'rah just laughing at his excitement.

We arrived at the forest meadow just as dawn was breaking...

"Chii..Chii...Chiiitttt...ttt!!!"

And go Nibbles did... like greased lightning he was gone... leaving Ta'rah and I to watch the sun slowly crest the horizon and shower the meadow with golden rays.

"What shall we do while Mr Nibbles plays?"

"Haha! Silly Sha'do'funn...your Ta'rah is be beautiful for great admiring!!!"

Yesss... Exactly what I was hoping for.

Ta'rah stayed close by me. No running and hiding... no tricks. She just wandered around the meadow and enjoyed the sunrise... and I enjoyed her basking in it...

Chasing the Chaser

I finally caught up to Ta'rah and she was sitting with Mr Nibbles... consoling him...

"Ni'bils say Chaser is here... all sisters and brothers hide now. No fun when Chaser comes."

Mr Nibbles dashed off and perched up on a branch... looking around for his siblings and chittering woefully.

I'm not sure how Cedar could be "trapped" anyplace out here in the forest but... the trail we were running down did come to a dead end at the lake up ahead. I certainly wouldn't be able to go any further. Maybe Cedar was trapped because I would be??? Hmmm...

And they were gone... Thanks for that reminder too. I was a long way from the car now... sigh. The spot our chase had come to an end was the farthest out on the trail you can go. I guess chasing tiny Minxes is meant to be exercise....

They were all playing and laughing together when I got to the great oak tree. I'm sure there never really was any drama. That Mr Nibbles... he played his part perfectly!

Thanks Lone, Lee, John, funke and all the rest! It has been a very long and full day... I'm heading to bed right now. This must be the definition of wiped out... Ha!

I spent nearly 6 hours in the forest today and made half of the story up on the spot. Temperature this morning when I got to the park before sunrise was about 50 degrees... but it'd bounced up to "mosquito" temperature before we'd finished our shoot... Ha! I almost didn't make it to the end...

I had a lot of fun today and really felt fulfilled all day just doing it. It was sweet being lost in play like I did when I was a kid...

May we all have such days!
