Without the naptha? Wow, you must be quick. The silicone I use hardens pretty quick; making it very hard to spread. I guess I need more practice. Thanks for the advice HMSD.

yes your right it does get hard pretty fast, use alot less silicone 2 small squirts in a small dixie cup and use less color. it takes longer to skin. you can start on right upper leg them move to left upper leg go to back to left lower leg ect.. dont try to on just one body part at a time, move around untill its all complete, i may make a small 60 sec video and put it on my group to help out with this.

yes i use silicone for the makeup.
this is a little harder than just adding skin to the body, the best way to add makeup to face took me a long time to figure out but here it is. use Glad cling wrap to cover the whole face, make sure to press in so to contour the eyes , nose and mouth. apply colored silicone to for eye shadow and lips. use a wet spoon to shape the edges. once cured, remove cling wrap and silicone, cut the edges of the silicone if needed to shape. use raw silicone to glue back to the head.
this can ulso be used for the eyeliner, good luck, like i said this is a little harder, and also use very little silicone in a small dixie cup.

hi homemadesexdolls , i am a long time fan of yours and all you have created ! you mentioned making a video i believe that is a good idea as they say a picture is worth a thousand words so a video is worth a million ! hope you make one soon of this technique on the make up would really be interesting!

Has anybody made a doll or even skin using this technique?

I'm wondering if I could use the thinned GE silicone to coat a spandex catsuit or cotton material pajamas? Much cheaper than platinum silicone.

rubherkitty, i was wondering and have asked befor about the very same thing if a spandex suit could be used to cover with a latex skin using homemadesexdolls ways , hopefully homemade sex dolls can answer this , or maybe try it and take photoes and or video's of the process .
I myself and very interested in knowing about this .
If panty hose can be used as they now do and cover it with a silicone skin i would think that spandex suits could be used to .
My biggest concern would be getting a even skin tone color ,
maybe home made sex dolls can explain better how that's done to !
to me a spandex full body suit would be the best new way to create a silicon skinned doll , a person can expand the shape the way they want with fiberfill etc.make it more full body , bigger breast or smaller etc. and skin it .

There has been activity shown in the yahoo group. Sadly, I don't visit there often. It's not difficult to find useful information about using silicone materials there.

As an experiment, I made a small piece using the skinning method. The skin came out durable, flexible and soft. Someday, I hope to complete such a project.

Yes, perhaps I'm expecting too much from TDF for doll building knowledge. This is a love doll forum and NOT a How To build love dolls forum. This is where I went to first when I got into the doll scene and just never went further.

as a member of the homemadesexdolls forum i get e mail updates but unfortunately some spammers is posting links to porno videos and so i am just putting it on the spam list , it seems everyone has problems with spammers posing as members .
The website does have a lot of useful information .
Maybe if some are interested they may want to save the information from the page , just in case it would ever be taken down for any reason .

are you still in 2 this stuf like 2 learn a thing or 2 i startet 2 build a doll mold whit a 3d printer but it was 50% fail so i startet 2 build a doll of fabrick mabe i can make the core the same way you dit and i dit see your fabrick base that was awesome
