New Gear Skeleton

Post by Starpery Manager »

As part of customers feed back, some of Starpery doll skeletons are tight & stiff that makes the posing work kind of tiresome, and some old users mentioned the loose of skeleton. We recently pushed out this new skeleton, all the joints are gear-hinged and well designed for the flexibility and durability; Check the images below!

At last! A company has decided to do something about improving the skeleton! Very well done and I really hope that it proves to be a great success

Will it be available for both TPE and silicone dolls?

I wonder if it will become an industry standard?

Hello PD,

Yes we had some tests in this month, TPE works well and several silicone dolls were made yesterday for tests. So we delayed the application date in bulk producing unless customers required. . Hmm undoubtedly i assume more doll makers will use this. Anyway i will update the progress here soon.

Hi deliladoll,

Thanks for support  , actually we still have a lot to do this year, like the super weight reduction for a bbw doll, and stabler quality.

It's great to see Starpery listening to customer feedback and making improvements such as this.
When will all this go in to production ?

Innovative, but it looks like all metal on metal so just like the current joints won't tension fail over time?

I was wondering about that too. Perhaps an idea would be to introduce nylon or plastic gear wheels, although you might have problems with the high pour temperature of TPE, unless you could find a suitable plastic.
