Two fantastic challenge entries, and congrats on a well deserved win for Mary Poppins ... err sorry, Hadaly Poppins.
I'm old enough to have seen the show when it was first broadcast, and I must say, in her costume Hadaly does bear a very striking resemblance to a young Mary Ingalls (Melissa Sue Anderson).
Re: Xycolo 163SB Hadaly
Thank you so much Ariel_Lover fro your kind words! For Mary Poppins, Hadaly kept her white Adele Sec outfit.ariel_lover wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 10:25 am

For Mary Ingalls, I used a dress from her wardrobe and simply bought the white headdress.

She looks really like a fairy tale character
Re: Xycolo 163SB Hadaly
Thank you for your very complimentary comment! Hadaly is a "chameleon" doll, who can play many different roles as she adapts to the setting.

Impressive!
Luckily the dolls float! I'm more worried about the photographer.

A rouge wave can sneak up on you when you least expect it, and before you know it ... you are swimming for dear life!
Re: Xycolo 163SB Hadaly
Thank you! In the next photo, Hadaly is alone, the photographer has disappeared...

Thanks Ariel_lover! Fortunately, it is a photo montage. I would never put my dear Hadaly in such danger!ariel_lover wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 5:48 pm Whoa Hadaly! Please be very careful on those wet rocks.

Re: Xycolo 163SB Hadaly
Just 50 years ago today, on March 30, 1974, the first episode of "Little House on the Prairie" was broadcast. The series, which aired in installments until 1983, left its mark on the childhoods of many viewers around the World, as did the books by Laura Ingalls-Wilder, which were the inspiration for the series. The series recounts the real-life adventures of Charles and Caroline Ingalls and their three daughters, Marie, Laura and Carrie, set in rural America at the end of the 19th century. Laura was Mary's younger sister.
Hadaly recently played Mary Ingalls for a TDF challenge. From her shooting sessions emerged the idea of Hadaly's modest tribute to Mary, the eldest of the Ingalls daughters, who went blind quite early in life...
