LOL! I remember this adventure in the woods. That cobra must have been just out of view slithering about in the grass and sneaking up on the girls while they were distracted by that harmless little snake.Vicvic wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 4:11 pm To complete this thread, a submitted photo to april's Composite photo challenge, on the theme “A risky situation”. I took a photo of Yumi and Hadaly in the woods (photostory: viewtopic.php?t=145037&start=375), and I added a menacing king cobra...
“But no, Yumi, it's not this one I'm afraid of. Look behind you...!”
Bravo and congrats of your April Category D win.

Thank you so much Ariel_lover! I don't think there's any risk of such a situation arising, as the cobra snake doesn't live in France. Unless it escaped from a vivarium...ariel_lover wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 1:42 pm LOL! I remember this adventure in the woods. A few weeks ago, I went to visit my friend HerHearthBeats and his ladies in his beautiful city of Troyes, capital of stained glass. I came away with some fleeting but powerful impressions...
I thought of ShadowFun as I contemplated the large bronze statues in the garden of the Modern Art Museum

It’s been many years now since I was in France, but the ancient buildings fascinated me! So far, my favorite city was Metz… but there is so much to discover! Nothing is even close to that old here!
Maybe someday the Minxes and I can visit!

Thank you SahdowFun! I didn't know you'd been to France before. If you come back and want to visit the west of the country, I'll be happy to welcome you and show you a few old things. France is a very small country compared to the huge United States, but its size is measured more by the depth of time and the diversity of its cultures than by its geography.ShadowFun wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 1:10 pm Beautiful video Victor!
