Hello Everyone,

I can hardly believe it! She arrived this afternoon!

Her name is Lana (like Superboy's girlfriend, also a redhead).

As promised, here are my unboxing photos and first impressions review:

PACKAGING:

Standard Starpery packaging. I was quite relieved the box arrived in decent condition!

ACCESSORIES:

Bikini-type lingerie top and bottom with thin pink robe. Not bad for a random selection.

Comb with wide-spaced metal teeth, for artificial hair I presume.
Sound device with USB cord (not yet installed)
Small plastic bellows with nozzle for cleaning.
1 extra neck bolt, default bolt with head is quick-connect type.
1 USB heating rod, far too small for her love holes. I have ordered a USB rod and electric blanket from Amazon, but she got here first!

OUT OF THE BOX - WEIGHT

Weight was one of my major concerns going in, as I wanted something a little taller than petite. Lana has been updated with weight reduction, and weighs in at 75.5 lbs (34.2 kg) according to my scale. Not bad considering her height, and she is easier to move around than I expected. I was even able to get her to free stand on the scale!

BODY & HEAD

Excellent sculpting and details. Painted-on skin details such as freckles and veins are subtle, not overdone. No loose primary joints, holds poses well. There is the seam line associated with silicone bodies, but it's not terribly noticeable, especially with this skin tone.

Articulated fingers pose well, but no reinforcement at the fingertips; some feel as if the metal could poke through. Potential buyers, be careful with these. I would recommend the manufacturer reinforce the finger "bones" with plastic, especially the tips.

Standing feet bolts appear to be properly positioned, no issues with the surrounding silicone. Big toe is wired, remaining toes are not.

Body joints are quite tight, and some take a bit of effort to move. Using leverage is the key, of course. This may improve with time and usage.

As for the softness of this silicone body, the gel breasts feel authentic; the rest of the body feels fairly soft to about 1/2" deep but quite firm beyond that, especially the thighs. I would have preferred her bottom been a bit softer, but it's acceptable to me since she doesn't have a huge "bubble-butt". She feels like a woman in REALLY good shape, almost like an athlete.

The head shown is the hard silicone version, and it is quite firm, except for the lips. I like the look of the implanted hair, but quite a few strands fell out or were pulled out while combing. I'll keep an eye on this. I also ordered the same head in soft silicone, but it shipped separately and hasn't arrived yet.

As for her "privates", there is a bit of gape to both holes, but not too bad. It actually looks worse in the photos than in real life. No issues externally or internally so far.

DEFECTS:

Regrettably, there are a few defects in her skin, but nothing I can't live with. They kind of resemble the scar you sometimes get when you're vaccinated.

CONCLUSION:

Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchase so far. I think we can all agree the defects were not nearly as bad as we have seen in previous posts. I will certainly post any significant updates or issues, should they occur. Thank you all here at the forum for your welcome and continued support!

Yes, she certainly is gorgeous!

My photos taken on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note) do not do her justice! As I am sure you know, phone cameras can distort the image a bit. I think in photos showing only torso and up, her head and breasts appear larger than they actually are. She is actually quite realistically proportioned, on the slim but shapely side.

Her height adds to the realism for me. She is nearly my height (5 foot 9 inches or 1.75 m) while standing on the scale!

However, this does make moving and carrying her a bit more cumbersome. This is actually more of an issue than her weight, because I don't want to frequently bump her fingers or toes while moving her. I was able to do the "fireman's carry" out of the box, and can grab her around the waist to lift and carry short distances. Also in my case, her weight makes her sturdy enough to allow posing, as nearly all her primary joints are fairly tight.

Hello Everyone,

NEW UPDATE:

I have discovered a couple of other issues while cleaning and powdering her, but still not enough to make me regret my purchase! She's too awesome for that IMHO.

LEFT SHOULDER: The joint that allows "shrugging" appears to be loose, left shoulder only, but this is not a feature I would use very often. This is the only loose joint I have found.

RIGHT ARMPIT: Appears to be a clean split/tear in the silicone, along the mold seam line. I do not believe I caused this while posing her, as there is no issue with the left side.

I seem to recall this issue has been previously posted here, and I believe the usual solution is silicone glue. I will check with my vendor.

Regarding the split/tear issue, my vendor has advised me to use silicone adhesive, so we'll see how that goes.

I would not suggest using silpox.. dries hard/harder.
Try using Permatex windshield and glass adhesive. Worked like a charm on my GT.
Clean the area first, have some painters tape ready to pull the edges together. Wait 24 hours to totally dry. You can remove the tape in an hour.
don't over apply as you would need to clean up excess and could lead to a mess.
Less is better, so you do not squeeze out excess.

FURTHER UPDATE:

My Hedy soft silicone head arrived today:

I was most impressed how little difference there is between this head and the hard silicone one (soft one is on the right).

However, there is no detail inside the mouth; the opening is narrow and slants upward into her "nasal cavity". Oral capability appears difficult, and could certainly be improved.

Overall, very impressive for a soft silicone head.

DEFECT UPDATE:

My vendor has recommended using GE2 clear silicone adhesive for the split/tear issue. We'll see how that goes.

Regrettably, other similar issues have developed:

PUBIC AREA, LEFT SIDE: Similar to the armpit issue, also along the seam line, but some material has torn free. The legs have not been overextended to my knowledge.

I have some excess silicone "flash" from the soft head; I will try filling the gap with scrap silicone and adhesive.

ARTICULATED FINGERS: Finger "bones" have poked through some fingertips on both hands.

Finger tips are too soft to prevent this from happening. I recommend some type of plastic or hard silicone coating for the finger "bones".

That's awesome. I seem to remember reading that the body was 50kg before.

Do you mean the lips are soft? Can I bother you for more info please? Are they pleasant to kiss? Is there any kind of oral cavity (not necessarily one for sex)? I was disappointed by a video of the soft head, that showed no cavity behind her lower lip, just solid silicone.

yea for the weight SIlicone has a problem, many Doll Silicone do about 40-45Kg...

Starpery change the new Body 171 may be for have better weight...

For the Skin texture it is nice. Not that on TPE body.
