Long hair is easier to knot, especially big wavy hair.
It's more comfortable to take care of short hair.
But with long hair and big waves, it's more sexy to wear on a doll's head, don't you think?

If your doll's wig is knotted, you can buy a bottle of conditioner to spray on it,
and then comb it slowly with a comb.
It'll be ready in a minute.
Always comb your wig when it's messy.

I use both long and short wigs for Sally. My 173cm H Cup WMDoll. And I've noticed that long, wavy hair with a simple cut, like bangs and that's it, tend to tangle and knot more than her full length, straight more complex cut tends to not do any of those things.

It's a quality thing. If your wig is synthetic and under $20 then expect cheap quality.
So it's not the length as much as it is the style of the cut. The cut can keep the hair from tangling and knotting. A-line bobs tend to not tangle at all whereas shoulder length wavy hair wig will tangle often.

But spend the money on ur girl if you want good quality hair.

A little extra work, but I much prefer long hair myself. Generally, the better quality the wig, the less hassle, but a good wig brush is a must.

I had this one wig that defied even the simplest grooming efforts. As a last ditch attempt to save it, I soaked it in fabric softener and warm water for and hour or so. Afterward, I blotted it with a towel and let it air dry overnight. Amazing difference! It's now just about tangle free, combs easily and smells amazing!

I adore perky short bobs and shoulder length styles, but also have a dozen or so long wigs that look great with certain clothing. Can't say that I prefer one over the other, but I've found that shorter wigs are easier to maintain.

I prefer the long hair myself cause I think it is sexier. It is harder to take care of. As mentioned above, buy a better quality wig. I purchase wigs that are a human hair blend mixed with synthetic. They are softer and easier to maintain, but yes, you have to spend at least some money. Cheap wigs totally ruin it for me. I also use wig conditioner spray that you can get on Amazon. Buy the right combs also. They will make the difference too.

Short...Is the easiest to deal with, longer (synthetic) hair will easily get knotted and you will need Skills, techniques, and special brushes, etc. which I do not have to set things strait...

Any experience on longer real hair? Is that easier to maintain than synthetic?
