"Romance Doll" found on Netflix. All subtitles, unless you understand the Japanese language...

Seen most of these here there are also quite a few sex doll/sex robot or qynoid themed short films that can be found on YouTube that are quite good also.

2050 is also worth a watch, but the Horror film The doll, well, hit or miss!

Not sure I'd classify the sci-fi movies like Ex Machina as doll movies. But it's an interesting list. I never bothered seeing Lars and the Real Girl because I just thought it was a slow drama. Might have to check it out.

Living Dolls (20??) - love dolls, Barbie collector, robot sculptor, and married female doll collector.

Romance Doll (Referenced above) is a flick well worth watching. SRT-files are available, but the Japanese BluRay, alas, doesn't have English subs

“Lars” is great, and the female lead is the powerhouse of the film. She is the real “real girl” he has the best relationship with.
