Annie May's PNW road trip
Annie May at the mouth of the Russian River
We headed up highway 1 found this cool spot for a photo.
Stopped for some nice views at Point Arenas. It was cold and windy, but Annie May had no compliants.
Annie May not happy with Raisin Bran for breakfast. "You expect me to eat this?" The Oregon Coast can be incredibly dense with trees. The beach is just yards behind Annie May.
At the end of the day, we cracked open a bottle of craft beer. Of course, being in a van, we stayed down by the river.
To be continued.......

I would love to do something like that with a few of my dolls, but just have too much insecurity that the general public would think. I would make too uncomfortable for me to really enjoy. Hats off to you panther for doing this tho.

Re: Annie May's PNW road trip
Hey Rock, agreed, the dolls make great road trip companions. Photo model, carpool buddy , and trolling border patrol when I was traveling close to the Mexican border. Looks like my dolls traveled your stomping grounds as my first overnight road trip was with Amanda hitting the Marin Headlands up to Point Reyes. This photo was taken by the light house overlooking the beaches.Rock13 wrote:Awesome shoot, Panther68! The PNW is near and dear to my heart because from 1989 to '92 and then from '96 to 2000 I was assigned to respond to coastal incidents as a Federal On Scene Coordinator. Oil spills, grounded vessels, etc. I often worked out of my car with a tent, camping gear, and a grill in rustic places from Neah Bay on down to places like Pt. Arena and Pt. Reyes. Just me, a contract helicopter on standby, sometimes a tug and some trailer'd work boats, and a 1000 miles of coastline. Woulda been a whole lot better if I'd had a doll with me.
Thanks Trick, still have plenty more to come. That is why it has taken me so long to post these. Shot in RAW, so I had to edit and convert each photo. Also after doing these road trips, I went straight into remodeling the house through out the summer.Trick700 wrote:Love the photos Panther!

Thanks CF, yes it is. Still plenty more to come. Annie may wasn't to happy when I bought here a gift.CF wrote:That is delightful! It looks like a really pretty part of the world, and Annie only makes it look even nicer. I hope we see more!
Annie May I bought you some camping cookware, so you can cook for me.
Thanks Studio, I've had many ask why I never shoot with a shallow depth of field. I answer, if I gotta carry a 90 lb. doll all over the country, you bet I want every one to see the background. I'll save the 50mm 1.8f lens for boudoir photography. A sneak peek of another road trip I have yet to post.Studio wrote:Gorgeous foreground and background, love her outfit too.
Thanks Leatherman, too bad we missed each other when I was in Florida. May head back, next February. Congrats on your photo competition win. Annie May loves her Vikings, but it leads her to drinking.Leatherman wrote:That is very cool Panther. Annie May is everything you want in a traveling companion.
Always love your photos!
Thanks DB, I think I was more bold with Anastasia, than I am now. I've had a bus load of teenage boys around me doing shoots of her around San Francisco with their female teachers egging them on to take photos with her. Yes, I did not get arrested having her wear such a low cut dress.Doll_Banger wrote:nice.....

I'm heading out on my trip monday, but also with a single silicone lady as a passenger. I think I will be doing the similar trip that you did this year..

Absolutely, especially the places you select, can't wait to see those ones in the rocks, I can imagine you carefully lugging her into position over the loose ground, must have been difficult.Panther68 wrote:if I gotta carry a 90 lb. doll all over the country, you bet I want every one to see the background.
