Although I'm also thinking of a new teddybabe, it has nothing to do with that.
Here I want to try to recreate Carly or Carla as a phicen.
I started with the selection of the bodies, which, contrary to the impression in the pictures, have to be pale. The choices are a Jiaou Doll, the Phicen S07c, and the TBL 20A.
Perhaps the new TBL S36 in Pale and with large breasts could also be a better fit.

That is an ambitious project. I am interested in the results. I also thought, with carly's comment, check out Miss Kittiewenie Pixie. As she is on an under cover assignment she is wearing her bunny suit (yes that is a T03 in there all tan and naked).
It should be a real phicen doll, otherwise I could (have) it sewn.
The first challenge I see is that I haven't found any suitable heads in pale at reputable dealers yet, so maybe I'll deviate a bit with the body. So far I don't have any S36/37 in my stock.
Has anyone ever tried to dye the hair of a 1/6 Head. There would be a head for my project, but as far as I know only in blonde. The original is from Kimi Toys and corresponds to the head of my Elena. She has a more serious expression and green eyes. Is it actually known what type of fibre the hair is? (Polyester, polyamide ...) That would possibly also help to find a recipe for dyeing.
Kumik makes a bunch of different color wigs that can be swapped on their heads. I have been using them on my Super Duck heads with the moving eyes and replaceable wigs. However, the wigs of most heads can be pried off and then swapped with a little work. I am doing this right now for a new girl joining my clan soonish. I think this would be easier than trying to dye a wig.
So wait!
You trying to convert a Phicen into a Teddy Babe Phicen?
What a creative idea.
I'm thinking you don't need to create the fuzzy skin. Maybe just mottling it would give it a textured look.
As for the head, easiest thing might be to stitch one.
Teddy Babes have that nice full round face contrary to the narrower Phicen faces.
