I believe the man on the tshirt is Bob, the leader of the church of sub genius. He is married to Connie and was a sort of cult figure back in the day. Anyway! Great shirt and photo. Nice that you made this adventure happen.

Thanks, Flyer! TexasMechanic took that one. I was amazed at how radiant the dolls looked under natural lighting.

Thanks, Alottahope. We actually had a 'DEVO Day' featuring art, fashion, and local bands at my high school back in the late 70s. It was pretty funny.

Thanks, Leatherman. I'd considered wearing nice slacks, a Daddy-O's shirt, and a suitable hat. I was concerned that if anything unexpected happened- like a slip or sudden loss of balance- then in a rapid intervention Hadleigh might be harmed by buttons and belt buckles and such.

Thanks, true_blue22! I'd anticipated that getting the dolls down my outdoor stair ladder and into the shoot was going to be hard work, so practicality prevailed over fashion. I'd love to go back to The Asylum at sunset with Hadleigh in a formal gown and me in my best tux... surely a recipe for dishevelment and disaster.
