now, I understand better why JB kept the large cardboard box in which I arrived

JB has taken the resolution to save them all in the matrix  ... it will occupy him, he still has to submit about sixty! (in addition to the 80s already in it) but I bet it will never ended it. It should still receive the S42 / S43 soon  just two more !

Sometimes, I envy the minis, because I am not allowed to climb on the keyboard, nor to wipe the screen with my panties :?

Oh no, at the moment there is nothing to prevent Wolferich sleeping on the balcony. We don't have to have it permanently for us.

You Teddy Babes are sometimes worse than the minis!
You prefer to stay warm inside, while Wolferich freezes outside in the swing :( ! you could at least keep him warm  ,
What a shame to leave him all alone.

But beware of full moon nights, in winter: the snow queens could take him off! they are smaller than you, but they also have great powers

And if they don't find Wolferich, they might get revenge on poppy70. Will he be able to resist longer?
He's been trying for half a century ... now he's going to become a philosopher and resign himself :haha4:

Great choice going with the miniatures.

I photograph my dolls a lot and not only is it time cunsuming, but takes a lot out of you as well.

I bought a couple of 1/6 scale dolls to try something different and have been really happy on how easy they are to photograph. The posing is a real pleasure and so easy to do.

I shoot mine with a 100mm macro lens and make them as realistic as possible.

Love to see some photos when you get one. I’ve got heaps of shots on my Flickr page in the link before if you want to see what I’ve done with mine. I had another head arrive today and have ordered another body this morning!!

Cheers

Okay, it's too late, I dropped down that rabbit hole. Just wanted to have one to see how it works out, now two are on order... Thank you for your support and making my decision even harder with the sheer endless possibilities of choice.

And I must restraint myself not to go overboard. There are at least five or six other dolls, heads, outfits or sets that I would like to have. Seems as if I have to find some place, where the minis can live.

Should we congratulate you, or send our condolances for your banking account?

Anyway, looking forward to the pics.
I have two AI Neo Yuki dolls: Erika and Kim Ishino. They've got their own thread in the 4Woods forum.
Kim has a girlfriend: Erika Juliana Clark, she's got her own thread in the Yourdoll forum.
And then there is Alexandra Seizinger, who also has her own album and thread.

Lexi (a Phicen/TBleague doll) likes to travel.

haha, not yet afraid of that, but maybe I should think about a living agreement here. And about names and some other things and to prepare my home for their arrival. There is a lot less lead time than with the big girls...

Oh my, what have I gotten myself into :)

Woo hoo, that was fast. Two days from order to delivery. Much faster than my big girls.
The small ones were in a hurry to come to me it seems.

After the postman delivered the package I was quite excited what to expect. It is big fun and quite some work and patience necessary.
Only three hours after I opened the package I managed to get both girls dressed. Good that I've got some experience with my other dolls.
But putting on stockings is really something. Even took some cling film for the feet on the S34

I didn't even bother putting on their supplied bikinis, because I had ordered something else to wear because I plan to take them with me outdoors.

So without much further ado, here are the pictures of Sonja and Tina.

Tina a S34 pale with head

Sonja (speak like Sonia) a S17b suntan with YM Toys Jasmine head

These two girls are quite a package and I am afraid these two will keep the old bones quite busy. But I already adore them.

Tina is really cute to climb that rock alone

Just some initial impressions and thoughts
The skeleton is quite exceptional and it feels very solid and well made. The detachable hands and feet are something I need to get used to. Also the slight color difference due to different materials. The head on the S34 is a very cute sculpt and the hair is very soft and gives her a natural look. The YM Toys head is something completely different. The face is beautiful but the hair feels like one of the wigs of my big girl after two weeks in bed. Need to give it some beauty treatment, so it will hopefully get better.

For their adventures I will most likely start a new thread.

Exhausted but happy

Congratulations and welcome Sonja and Tina! They are beautiful and look ready to take you out on big adventures!

I use a hair dryer to warm their hands and feet socket areas before trying to remove them. Some of my girls I need to do it before putting them on.

Looking forward to what you discover together!

Congratulations on your first two minis.
With most heads I first had to wash the hair with shampoo, then it might look better.
Have a nice day or night.

ShadowFun, I am curious myself. Just one reason more to get out.

Wolferich, thank you. First I washed her hair with shampoo and afterwards a treatment with fabric softener. Plus combing with a toothbrush and the tangle teaser. At last getting the hair dry with a hair dryer without heat. All in all, not bad.

These minis are at least as demanding as the big girls. But cute as a button.
