Oooh! Instead of Starship Troopers, this one could be more like Ripley saving Newt in Aliens.

Good job Tomoe, now you can take off and nuke the site from orbit; it's the only way to be sure.

Thanks - that's pretty much exactly what I was going for. The blue light coming from the gun was edited in later and is just an effect.

Faceapp is definitely good fun, but I try not to overuse it as it's a bit too artificial. It does seem to work especially well for Tomoe though, I think it's because she has a slight smile there already so it doesn't have to invent the whole thing.

Don't be giving her ideas - who do you think she'll need to make the nuke? I don't even want to contemplate the legal ramifications of constructing a WMD in the back yard! :haha4:

I love Aliens - I think it's my favorite film in the Alien series!

Bonus shots that didn't make it into Coverdoll!

Oh, her gun has a removeable clip too which didn't make it into the main shoot (despite being difficult to do with regards to painting moving parts...). I like this one a lot actually, I'm not sure how I missed it earlier!

I am very happy she is on front page of doll magazine!
You worked very hard on her costume.

I like her jungle pictures and the one where Tomoe is looking up is my favourite!
I also like her answers in doll magazine questionaire. I learned many things about Tomoe!

Thanks for the compliments - it was a ton of work to build Tomoe's costume, but it was something I'd wanted to do for years. The lockdown gave me an opportunity to work on it finally!

It's funny that you described some of the photos as "jungle pictures" as they're just shot under an apple tree. The leaves in the foreground are just because I shot through the branches of the same tree she is standing against.

I'm sure SooYoung could make it into Cover Doll - I've seen a few of her Ex-Lite sisters in there!

Thanks. It's funny - I thought I'd got that wrong when I wrote it! Nothing like a picture of a magazine that made it into a magazine! (Coverdoll counts even though it's not actually printed right?)
