Ex Doll is about to launch a new series.

For this series, EX Doll have collaborated with the pioneer Body Photographer Wang Dong Wanimal and they have done a large ongoing collaboration.

Wang Dong Wanimal may be new to some of you… Wang Dong graduated from the China Central Academy of Drama and is a well-known fashion pioneer and body art photographer, esteemed in the photography industry.

Under his lens we can see different models, women with the most unique of aspects.

For this fun and cool experimentation project, EX Doll have purchased new industrial grade 3d equipment.

EX Doll, Ourselves at Cloud Climax and the doll community as a whole has much curiosity to whether dolls can be made to look even more like humans. Are the current doll figures that we are familiar with the limit of what can actually be achieved on a realism level when producing a doll?

To answer these questions, EX Doll found Wanimal. The Model “Jie” uses the brand new equipment. They collected the human data with the machinery, which has an accuracy of 0.03mm. After half a year of research, development, testing and prototypes, EX Doll have succeeded in converting the biological data into real dolls.

Really glad I put my money on EX. This is why. They are pushing the envelope in the direction I like. Imagine where they will be in 6 or 7 years or so, when I expect my lovely Maho to start breaking down. It's like she was the beta testing for this.

The process what I’ve been told, more to come in the coming weeks.
Basically replication through 3D printer file, full mould reproduction of a clone human, detailing with pioneering technology and techniques still to be revealed.

Future has indeed arrived.

Animatronic technology now that would be so cool.
Breathable chest cavity would be awesome, eye lids that open and close.
Who knows, just wait and see now I guess. Ex Clone is the definitive next step to the level of reality.

I would be happy if they coupled this 3D replication with a little more pose ability in the spine, with added pose ability in the face, moveable eyelids, jaw and mouth at bare minimum, to make smile, pout,wink etc. I look forward to what is coming.

Lifelike realism often lies in subtle imperfections like these... small details and asymmetries that can be very difficult to reproduce artificially. I'm quite blown away and can't wait to learn more.
Going by what EX have been showing us of late including the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Alexa head that i haven't quite been able to get out of my mind... i'm now having a very difficult time repressing or hiding my enthusiasm

I'll be very curious to know if the EX Clone series will also come with a fixed head like the Summit series do.
Kind of hoping that they don't personally, but this seems to be the direction that they are taking and it does make sense in the context of what they are trying to achieve.

There's another really important benefit - if a doll is a 3d body clone, in theory the age of the person cloned can be proven for the purposes of import. It could really help clarify the current system that is way too open to individual interpretation (at least in the UK).
