Hi TDF and DS Doll lovers.

OK, So looks like I have come into possession of a locally sourced body only DS 145 that happens to be a perfect candidate for

So I have opened some inquiries with Stephen at DS Dolls regarding the possibility of some minor changes to this head http://www.exdoll.com/product-75.html

to incorporate slightly larger eyes (from the larger scale heads)

to get this appearance.

Now, already sourced the outfits, accessories and add ons.

and that will end up like this

Now she is Cosplayer sixtutu622 from China https://twitter.com/sixtutu622 and she is 26 years old!. Interesting right!

She is an extremely rootable looking girl, right!

I wonder if she is single and into well off older musicians

Now the running and on maintenance cost risk assessment there was kind of high risk, so going for the dolly version!

But she will be my first DS DOLL and will join the other companion art girls in the house as I got a spare but of room after selling some more guitars finally!

So quite exciting if this works out.

Over to you DS Dolls to assist in making this happen.

Oh great idea Anung and the DS head could well be a really good match. This has crossed my mind more than once and I've found a UK source for the cosplay costume, if DS come up with the goods then I'm sure a lot of doll collectors will be looking their way, good luck!

Alita is definitely a hot choice. I dont know if the head could be mounted , but If the DS doll head alteration doesn't happen at a reasonable price then perhaps you could use an elsa babe head and have them do custom Alita makeup. Probably cheaper and the eyes are already the right size.

Theres also this 3d model available if you wanted to go to the trouble of cannibalizing arms and printing to scale... Would involve a lot more surgery I'd imagine.

Thanks for the ideas gents. All good ones, and yes that statue is fantastic, but for that cost, well I would get DS to go for a full custom head rather than trial and test for close likeness.

I opted for the Kayla, as she was the closest match for heads for the 145 cm range, so eye mods, make up and styling will be the real area where the trial comes in for facial theme.

Now Ironically...when we look at DS Doll EXDOLL robots

If only the sideline project budget extended that much.

Now, If DS Doll/EXDoll decided to do the full custom head like in my initial post with that black robo chassis...well anyone else think that doll would be like

OMG this 622 cosplayer's Alita is just epic AMAZING!

Such professional levels of makeup, costume and poses! Such clean execution!

Yes DH, a good idea spreads quick, I was merely chatting my project of few weeks back offline with some potential makers, and out of now where...there you go. They are considering a silicone model now as well.

I tend to think the shape of the SE cosplay is a bit to curvy, as Alita was always petite.
