Why isn't 6YE more popular ?

Just day before yesterday I was testing could I handle 36kg doll. I have couple of coolant canisters about 8kg each so I took my 20kg Mina in my arms and picked up canisters with both hands and nope, too heavy for me...

My heaviest is c. 45Kg and I know I can cope with that, although lighter is good... very good

Interestingly, on 6YE's website, the 161C is listed as weighing 42Kg, with the 161E as 36Kg. I suspect they have that the wrong way round.

Was having a brief look through your album - excellent shots. Lots of her standing. Was she standing unaided, or did you use a prop which you edited out?

Yes, all shots of her standing are done with her leaning on a 3rd point. The shots of her a few feet away from a wall are done with a really long selfie stick behind her.

I've been in the market for some new heads for my JY because the head that I had planned on using from my old doll doesn't fit, so I've been actively shopping for about a week or two. To my surprise, 6YE has some absolutely gorgeous faces that I just never noticed before because they're not properly represented in the photos on their website. For example, this is the N.17 face from a photo on the 6YE website:

The second photoset is a far better representation of just how pretty the N.17 face actually is IMO. If it wasn't for their work in producing dolls with proper LHP, 6YE wouldn't even be on my radar because I thought they didn't have any good-looking faces. This is conversely why I'm a huge fan of JY Doll for TPE, because they make some killer sculpts (seriously, their thighs sculpts are the chef's kiss) and they make their dolls shine in photographs.

Since I haven't heard otherwise, I assume Mishka is still their official photographer, but they haven't been putting out hardly any promo shots for the past year and that is definitely hurting their "buzz" factor. There were two maybe three shoots for the 161J, which came out over a year ago, two for the 165E, neither one particularly inspired, etc.

Alottahope did some nice work last year with sister label HR, maybe there is some more planned for later in the year.

Had to put some of Leah Jonelle up to help others here out. She is a 6ye 165 B Princess.
I have a WM and an XY also. The 6ye is best in every category. I have absolutely no bias and nothing to gain by posting my opinions here. I am only hoping my experience is helpful to others. My XY is very, very close in all categories and I would not hesitate whatsoever to recommend them fully. I definitely would not buy another WM. Love their faces and totally love my Princess but in my opinion there are better choices at the same price point.
