LoneRanger wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 8:55 amI am afraid my ladies would suggest a snowplow into a land fill and 2 tons of dirt, and a bag or grass seed would be a perfect resolution!!
Did I hear something about a snow plow? Well well, look at what we have here courtesy of a sweet angle that has come our way via LoneRanger. She waved her hand and the plow appeared. Okay, she transported it from the garage for all to see.

Thank you very much LR.
The Leather Estate plans on using this plow to run over then bury the evil that has been growing. Long live the 4 realms.
The rest of the car repair coming up on Fridayish.

Very much appreciated. Merry Christmas to you and your family
So if anyone was wondering why I mostly disappeared for the most part for the last month or more, I am now back for the most part.
My father had a stroke mid to late summer and it started causing problems with his walking. He ended up in a hospital. As they were getting ready to transfer my dad to a rehabilitation center they put him in a wheel chair and left him set for a bit. When they got back he had choked on saliva and was non responsive. Another week in the hospital and then off to the nursing home. I sat with him almost everyday doing what little work I have in his room.
Insurance ran out so he had to start paying $1300.00 a week. Because of the cost he had to go home where insurance covers his care 100%.
Hospital bed and all the trimmings for personal care. 3 different kind of physical therapist, and daytime certified nursing assistants.
Now I can comfortably take care of work without all the worry. As you just saw I was even able to do a photo shout with a lot more pics on the way.
Glad to hear you’re on your way back to giving your girls the attention they crave! Great news that your dad is going to get the care he needs. Looking forward to getting our stories back on track!

My current story could be on track.
Now I am curled up on the couch wishing it was warmer than negative 5* with a wind chill of negative 31* Fahrenheit .
That would be -21*C and -35*C
Sorry to hear about the major health concerns in your family.
I hope that you can still enjoy the holiday season, and get out your beautiful 4x4 snow plow. I'm waiting for the video!
Lee: Okay, there you go Yoko and ladies. Have fun. Yoko: So here is what we need to look at on this Traxxas XRT. The tire on he front left popped off the bead. Lee already glued it back together. Nancy: He glued the tire? Yoko: Yep, most RC tires are glued onto the wheel. Special tire glue is used. Also we need to check out the rear right wheel and suspension. Let us do the rear right first.

Nancey: Do you need the hex drivers yet? Yoko: No, we are going to take the tire off first so everyone can see what is going on. Nancey: Okay. Hey Nancy, bring the lug wrench.

Nancy: This 17mm wrench looks like it is the right size. Yoko: Okay it is in place, on 3 you push down on your side while I pull up on my side. Nancy: Piece of cake. Smirk (real fast): 1,2,3.
Nancy pushes down on the wrench and it spins up and hits Yoko in the chin.
Yoko: Damn it Smirk cause of you I got a bump on my chin. Nancy and Nancey: Go get Lee to kiss your boo boo. Yoko: Oh hush, back to work.

Yoko, Lug nut is off. Nancy let's slide the wheel off and roll it off to the side. Don't lose track of the lug nut.

With the tire out of the way, the girls are able to show off any damage.

What a team of girl mechanics! The wheels on the 4x4 are incredible, they look like the real thing!
Yep, nice big tires. Can get some paddle wheel tires and drive across water. Just don't stop in the middle of a pond or lake.

But then you have to tear the car down completely and clean and dry all the electronics and bearings and gear boxes. to much work for me and the girls.
I guess winter time is the best time to strip and clean all our cars.
Impressive! But it's not an amphibious vehicle, so you have to respect the maximum authorized height of the ford... Just like with a real 4x4 one, isn't it?
These wheels look like the ones on my van, only wider... https://i69.servimg.com/u/f69/20/35/45/37/img_5610.jpg
Your 4x4 is really fun!
