Looking for a Teddy Babe! First Time Buyer

After a looong transition into a new job and a new town, plus finally having some cash to spare when it comes to this kind of stuff, I'm finally in a place where I can get a Teddy Babe.

TB's have always been appealing to me; I have a kink for dolls, and the idea of a plush girl is essentually the height of my fetish. Plus, it doesn't hurt that my gf loves the idea of owning a stuffed doll for cuddling when I'm not around, so its a win win all around.

Chances are I'll end up ordering a new Deluxe through the website (which model is a whole other problem) but i thought I'd run it by this forum before moving forward:

Anyone have a spare TB that they'd be looking to sell? I know it's not exactly likely, but I thought it'd be worth asking.

Additionally, anyone have any tips for first-time buyers?

sounds like you are a man of good taste who is in a very fortunate situation, my advice is to read the stickies in the TB forum and to scan the sales section. If you read the stickies and some of the posts in the TB section that appeal to you, then you will probably need no additional advice since you are on the right track already, plush dolls are great.

Honestly, I saw that 8th Wonder did a Black Fridays sale at some point, and would be very interested if it would be possible to get a TB new at that kind of pricing. Anyone know how common all that is?

Also, how possible would it be to order a TB without the internal skeleton? I feel like that would make for a lot more cuddly of a doll

If you make a Teddy Babe more cuddly, you will never be able to get out of bed. The boobs have hand-magnets in them. Or is it like super glue? Spooning is their specialty.
But it will be easier to fold up and hide the girl without the frame.
I am sure Dave at 8thW can make you a doll without the wire-frame. Send him an email.

So is the frame that tough then? I've seen some posts on here that especially early on it makes the doll very stiff. Ease of storage would be a huge plus tho

The frame is a wire frame. I've heard that if you bend it to many times, it may break. I am able to feel the frame in the arms and in the legs, but I concentrate on the Faces, Boobs and Butts. There is no frame in there.
Lucky, I don't have hiding problems. I never bend the "bones". My Babes are good to me, they are number 1. My only concern is to provide them with a dust-free environment with reduced sunlight.
Ask Dave at 8thW if he can make your Babe without the frame and if he will reduce the price.

Quick update:

After contacting eighth wonder, it turns out they don't have any sales planned for the foreseeable future and on top of that, TB's without the internal wiring are not an option.

Oh well, not ideal but not the end of the world. Turns out I might even be able to purchase a TB in person! I'm not all too far from the location they ship their products out of

I think he means there won't be any more special sales in which discounts are offered.
While that is indeed bad news, hopefully the Teddy Babes themselves will still be around as a world without Teddy Babes will be disaster of epic proportions.
