I must say I was taken by the Grace Williams head back in Nov 2019 when LoveDolls launched it.
I got my original WM168A NAVA called Ashaki way back in September 2016 and she has done a lot of work in photoshoots and gifs from the very start of her career here on TDF! I was thinking she could do with some assistance!
So, on 4th January I started some email correspondence with Adam discussing the 'blacks' available. By the 11th she was paid for and on the 17th she was finished and ready to go!
I sent one more email saying I hoped the joints were tight and Adam said he'd tighten them up for me! He said it could be done by making small incisions, tightening the bolts and then sealing back up and smoothing the TPE. He said this was difficult to do at home but in the factory it could be done in about an hour! So.…, they managed to get her out in time before the CNY deadline! By 18th UPS had printed the label in Germany!!!!! It took just over two weeks then she arrived on Tuesday (4th Feb)!
First Impressions.
Excellent service and great value for money, especially with a second head included in the price paid!
The standard cardboard box had no damage and was sealed well. Inside it was packed really well and full to the brim!!

This is a WM168A caramel with the exclusive LoveDolls Grace Williams head.
Ashaki and Tanice were immediate friends for obvious reasons!

Comparisons!
OK, so, I have two WM168A dolls made over three years apart!
The new Tanice has a hinged neck and shrugging shoulders which are welcome additions!
She has stiff joints like Ashaki's and with standing feet she can free stand whereas Ashaki couldn't (quite!)!
The back joints are very stiff at the moment so I haven't explored how she moves there just yet. This is generally the case with new dolls though and it takes a while to loosen these joints a bit.
There are no signs of the incisions made to tighten the joints!
I've gone for a fixed vagina this time as Ashaki was my first lady and I thought it was a better option to have an insert for the first doll!
Tanice has similar protruding labia but not quite as pronounced!

The 'flesh' is much softer than Ashaki's which is lovely - especially the boobs! However, the slight downside to that is that the 'skin' does seem to be a bit oily. Ashaki never felt oily to the touch right from the start (although she does leave an oil mark even now on cardboard and annoyingly walls when she leans on them!). Giving Tanice her first bath needed quite a bit of soft soap to clean her but she'll need more I think. The oiliness is not really a problem but I will have to think about it when posing her! As she was created and sent out very quickly she hasn't been factory 'aired' so this may improve over the next few weeks.
The 'skin' is slightly textured and far more natural looking than the original smooth skin of Ashaki.
The makeup was done to perfection and as I ordered!
The eyes may need a little bit of stuffing removed behind one of the eyes perhaps as they appear slightly different in the amount of white exposed. However, I'm being a perfectionist here! I'm not going there just yet as I know what damage can be done to eyelashes when poking about there!
Ashaki came with horrible long pink finger and toe nails! I changed them for short black ones!
Tanice came with the black nails I ordered and they are just right in length (even though I didn't stipulate I didn't want long ones!)!
The nipples are a great size and colour (similar to how Ashaki's are now).
The hands are a little different to Ashaki's in that I think they are very slightly chunkier. This is a good thing as Ashaki's hands are now shot! So, I'm hoping the palm plates and fingers are better now. They certainly feel that way.
Contents.
OK, as I showed earlier, there was a surprise bag in the box! It contains all sorts of bondage and mistress gear! Personally, I'm not in to that sort of thing but I'm sure we'll have fun doing some photoshoots! It looks to be well made and pretty good quality though!

The contents included my choice of clothing but some additional ones too!
It also has a decent hairbrush for the two wigs, plus the usual things that come in the box including a blanket (although a bit smaller than previous ones I've had!).
One thing that is really good is a large rubber douche ball which has a curved spout with holes in the side not the end. My guess is that this can also be used to dry the 'inside' of orifices. I tend to use an aquarium air pump but I may give this a go to see how effective this is. I would imagine it will be good at douching though, although you'd have to fill it each time rather than my usual siphon pump!
There are also some neck adaptors to be able to hang the body. This is a welcome addition for heavier dolls as it makes dressing a lot easier!

This is the best standard packing box I've seen with a nice lining too!!

It has polystyrene leg divisions which house the two heads safely!

It also had a plywood board at the end of the box to stop the neck poking through! We all know how good the carriers are driving their vans carefully but Ashaki's neck scraped around a van floor before she arrived!

I have to say that the art of full size dolls is evolving all the time. Tanice has the overall look of a real lady and with the correct pose and lighting will trick the untrained eye!
Definitely looking forward to more photos. She has a wonderful face. The LD review is also welcome, some of their designs have been on my radar for a while.

I had an email from Adam a few days ago and he’s currently back in the UK and, of course, there is a lot going on in China at the moment and no one really knows when things will start up again.
We wish them all well and hope everyone stays safe there, especially in the Doll making area!
So it seems proper texturing does good for dark skin lady looks, which I suspected before. Do you still feel a need for powdering in case of photo shooting? Can´t quite judge from the pics if she´s powdered or not.

Thanks Ragnar! Yeah, she had a bath and then a powdering with normal white baby powder. It was more difficult working the powder in compared to Ashaki mainly because she was quite ‘tacky’ after her bath. I use a pretty large soft makeup brush to work the powder in. I would imagine next time it will be a lot easier as that was the first time. I always use powder on my ladies so they feel better and dressing them is much easier! Dark skin is more difficult when using white powder but working the powder well can give an even coating that doesn’t show (usually!).
For her face I used the brush almost devoid of powder so in the photo you’ve highlighted you can see I’ve left a few bits not worked in properly! I must admit I didn’t notice them before I took the photos! I could have edited them out but LoveDolls don’t use edited photos so I didn’t do anything to them before posting in their forum! I suppose I was in a bit of a rush to get some photos out as everyone wanted to see her!
As for textured skin, it does seem far more natural than my other ladies and for dark skin this is a bonus as it doesn’t reflect the light quite as much.
I just had a thought. Have you ever considered investigating using a coloured powder. Artists pastels come in a variety of colour.. Perhaps you could investigate contacting a company that makes them and see if you can source a powder that is the perfect colour for dark skin instead of using ordinary white talcum powder. Possibly even sourcing a stain to put in the powder first.. You could even just buy a number of coloured pastels in the colour you prefer crush them up and just use that on her face and shoulders only which may make for better photography. ? I'm just thinking out loud here.

yes that´s my main point actually. No doubts (usually) re better feel to touch though. In case you´d come to it, could you post a pic showing both your 168 ladies unpowdered side by side?
Thanks Oz but when Ashaki first arrived I had the same dilemma and tried using cocoa powder in a bit of talc! Big mistake! Not only was it the wrong colour it stained everything including her! The idea of powder is for the ‘skin’ to be frictionless and smooth but in the process of being a boundary layer some of it rubs off......! Can you imagine what coloured powder would do to clothes and sheets let alone anything it comes into contact with.....I mean furniture etc!
I am happy to compromise and after loads of trial and effort I put them on their blanket and powder them like any other doll. However, I sprinkle a fair bit of powder over a smaller area at a time and really work the makeup brush over the area. Most of the powder falls off onto the blanket but a small film will remain making the ‘skin’ smooth to the touch but not over powdered and blotchy. I have tried leaving Ashaki unpowdered after a bath and oiling and, yes, she looks better but she’s then difficult to run hands over and dressing is almost impossible for tighter clothes!
Ragnar, normally I wouldn’t do something like that in a vendor’s forum but, as they are essentially the same doll three years apart, it may be advantageous for LoveDolls to show that comparison of ‘old’ and ‘new’! It may take a day or two to do that though as I’m busy for a while.
