Girlfriends are for guys who haven't found the right doll yet.
I feel much better now that I've given up hope.

Re: Hello from the Great Lakes!
I will say this now just incase you didn't see it elsewhere on the forum. When getting your first doll watch the weight. We see it all the time where a first time buyer goes and get a 100 pound doll with huge butt and boobs then they end up not being able to lift her. Try and stay around the low 60 pound area, this way you can move her around and have fun without breaking you or her. Also get standing feet, without them she cant stand and will just lay around a lot, it's also more easy to clean them and dress them if they can stand.
The SM elf head is nice and they are a great brand but there are other brands with elf heads so make sure you give them a look as well just incase you like one more than the other.

Re: Hello from the Great Lakes!
As far as the other elves out there goes, does anyone else besides SM offer theirs in blue?

The SM 136F body typically paired with the Elf head is not too heavy at 61.2 lbs. (total weight with the head)

Re: Hello from the Great Lakes!
Weight is probably one of the most important things to consider with your first doll.
My lady weighs 60 pounds. It took about 2 weeks to get used to.
Once I got used to it, I could handle her like a champ.
