Thank you. Today I am feeling the pain more and it sucks, but I am alive and recovering so that is good. They say I should be able to do normal things in a few days, but right now I am doubting that. I think in about a week I will feel much better. But no heavy lifting for at least 8 weeks just to be safe. My next challenge is going to be a shower but I’m sure it will definitely help me to feel better and refreshed. Good thing about steri strips and super glue incision closures is that there is no wound care involved and that I can shower normally. Just no baths. Not that Inwouod be able to get out of a tub at this point anyway. It is painful to get out of bed, but as I continue to do so, it will become less painful. It’s just that the day after surgery is usually the roughest.

Glad all is going well. Funny how they just glue us back together these days after surgery. When I had my cardio-cath some years back, they just put what looked like a rubber stopper in the hole and said it'd dissolve on it's own in a week, which it did! 8O

Very sorry to read of your tortures and hope that modern techniques of medicine have proved to provide more comfort than the old.

My wife probably wouldn't be alive now were we to have been one or two generations back.

Best wishes and all encouragement

I remember when I had my girls via c section 16 and 12 years ago, they stapled me back together. When my Dad had his open heart procedure I think they stapled him up too. The super glue is one of the newer methods and I’m glad they used that on the outside and dissolving sutures inside. Harem, I am sorry to hear your wife has had serious health problems too. I sure hope that tomorrow is better than today was. I didn’t realize I had a navel incision and I accidentally scratched it while showering today. Yeah I was in tears. But I am alive and I am grateful. HH and the kiddo have made excellent changes and have been taking such great care of me. HH barely left my side since this happened. The guys have offered a lot of comfort and support as well and of course my pets are showing extra love. All the love I have received here is nothing short of amazing and I am truly blessed!

They are using super glue to seal people back up now? 8O I would have never imagined that! :o
At any rate, I'm glad that you are being well taken care of and hopefully you will be feeling better soon. :glou:
No matter how pretty she is, there is a guy out there somewhere who is tired of her shit!

Actually, its not a bad idea. Have you ever super-glued your fingers together? That stuff holds firm!

It allows the under cells to reattach themselves, and as the epidermis replenishes and replaces itself, the glue falls off with the dead skin cells.

(Did you know, the cells of the entire body replaces itself inside-out in 90 days?)

Anyway, DG, our blessings are still with you here.

I know what you mean. I have gotten some of that stuff on my fingers and it's impossible to get it off. I think it only comes off through the process of the cells replacing themselves by which the glue comes off with the old skin cells.

Which makes it very important not to mistake the super glue for the lube!

P.S. Sorry for derailing your thread DG.
But hopefully a good laugh will help in your recovery. :glou:

Thanks guys! Oh man, I want to laugh but it hurts when I do! But I love the humor. OMG, I remember that scene in American Pie. That whole movie was awkward, but hilarious, LOL!
Last night was pretty bad, my temperature rapidly increased to 100.5 and HH called the clinic to make sure that I didn't have to go back to the hospital. They said as long as it stays under 103. It was almost time for my Tylenol 3 and when he gave that to me, it went down to about 99, which is where it has stayed since like Monday. I also got a cold rag on my forehead and cheeks, and continued to drink plenty of water so that helped some. It didn't help before I took the Tylenol 3, but it was better than nothing, for sure. That and it is keeping me hydrated too. I'm still very sore today, but it is getting a little easier to move around. I have congestion today and I have been coughing more and OMG that hurts! Lots of tears on this end. I did get around to having a shower yesterday and it was refreshing. I didn't realize I had an incision in my navel and wound up scratching it, which hurt like hell, but I guess things like this happen sometimes. I am trying to stay in good spirits and everyone's messages are definitely helping with that.
I love and have loved many dolls.
