Hi, Dai! It's so good to see an update here. What an exciting time - I bet Adrian will be happy to have a larger body. It was really nice of kanadoll to include the head for free. I've ordered another (identical) head for Erik and got a factory pic yesterday. Let's hope that your doll and Erik's head arrive by Halloween. I bet you're looking forward to Luca's birthday, too.

Yes, I'm so excited, and Adrian of course, too.
I actually wanted to order Adrian in this size (160 cm), but I had concerns about the weight and then I ordered a smaller body.
According to the specifications, he should now weigh 34 kilos.
Luca weighs 38 kilos and first I had difficulties with it, but now I can manage it more or less and therefore I try it with the larger body for Adrian.
I have asked if it is possible to reduce the weight, some female dolls have this option, but unfortunately it is not possible with male dolls.

I totally get what you mean - as women, we have less physical strength than men when it comes to lifting dolls. So we have to consider the issue of weight very carefully. I wish the manufacturers would apply weight reduction to male dolls like they've done for female dolls. It would make things a lot easier with lifting/posing them! I'm so glad I went with the WM 160cm because there's no way I would have been able to lift a heavier doll. Erik's spare head should be delivered within a couple of days. We're looking forward to it arriving.

The new body for Adrian actually arrived just in time for Halloween.

So I immediately put Adrian's head on the new body, and the free head on Adrian's little body, but as the day went on I realized that neither of them seemed happy with it.
It's funny, but sometimes I have the feeling that our dolls can talk to us in a very special way.
Both heads had their mouths slightly open, normally they are closed.
I had already noticed this phenomenon with Adrian a while ago, when something didn't suit him and he had his mouth slightly open.
Sometimes I think I'm crazy, but I've heard similar stories from other doll lovers.
So we all slept on it for a night and the next day the mouths were still open. Then I swapped both heads.
And now guess what...

The mouths are now closed again.
I guess Adrian wants to keep his small body.
So the free head will stay on his original body.

A few days have passed since then and everyone seems to be happy now.
Adrian keeps his body and the new doll is called Tristan.

this is the body with Adrian's head, the lighting in the room wasn't that good anymore, I took the photo with my smartphone in the evening. He has his mouth slightly open...
