Hey! It's been a long time since I've ordered a new doll. In fact, I kind of stopped posting for a while too. Then I saw ChallengerRT's post about a potential mini from PIB. https://www.dollforum.com/forum/viewtop ... 6&t=117958

That really got my interest. Out of the 7 dolls I've owned over the years, 6 were "minis". I really like them. Probably has something to do with all the action figures I played with as a kid or something like that.

After watching that thread, checking in constantly, every day - I finally just went ahead and placed a pre-order.

I've always wanted to order a Spinner, particularly this one:

OR Damn, they are all hot! Maybe one of each? My wife would kill me. We already have no room in our little house.

After letting Patrick know I was interested, he emailed asking what options I'd like. I'm not really used to customization, that's pretty cool. Most of the dolls I've ordered, the options were usually pretty basic. I sent the 1st picture above. He said he'd keep me updated.

Man, I can't wait to see this doll when it's finished! How much are the 100 cm dolls gonna cost? From the what I'm seeing so far, I feel like I should start saving up

, I recently invested in the 150 cm BB Brittany version, and now to am on the "I can not wait to meet her" train.

1200 plus shipping. Which is comparable with other 100cms I've purchased in the past from China.

Thanks pastydude for helping Patrick get the ball rolling on this new doll.

The pictures so far of the Mini Beach Babe look amazing, I'm thinking of a pre-order too.

It’s all good. This is where Sara takes charge. She does the casting/coloring..with whatever help she may need , moving molds. Once the molds are done, she works her magic. Leaving me to sculpt my brains out.
The full sized Beach Babe is in good hands.
I’m sculpting the mini, and happily so. Listening to the “ New” version of Abby Road...the 50 yr. anniversary edition.
I remember bicycling to 5th grade singing, “ come together...over me” ha!
( turned 61 this yr.) i’m Not dead yet!!

Starting to dig this scale.
Totally a sculpture... no body casting.
Should call her “ fun sized” like the Halloween candy!

Of the 21 dolls I live with,
I can say unequivocally there is something special about Cello Shelby, my PIB spinner.
Frustratingly, I can't articulate exactly what it is
But she captivates me in a way that none other ever could.
Its as if she was crafted with a soul.
I was very lucky to purchase her off the second hand market and
am eternally grateful I did.
I absolutely adore her.

She has to be 5 or more years old, but
I took this of her, today, just a few minutes ago:

That brings back memories. Biking to school, riding bikes all over town with friends. Good times! So different now.

What's the difference between sculpture and body cast?
