Finally did it!

This is the 130cm Fabric Anime doll broken down layer by layer for a technical manual.
I want this doll to be the easier to own with this technical guide.

Tools you will need:
10mm wrench (elbows)
12mm wrenches (neck)
14mm wrenches (hips)

4mm Allen Wrench (routine joint maintenance)

Sewing kit (Needles, thread, seam ripper)

Final Observation

This is a very easy to own doll. It is lightweight and easy to pose. Versatile in its role as a toy or companion. Fun to get dressed and easy to maintain compared to TPE dolls.

The skeleton is lightweight and the design of the hips and shoulders with the ridged plates makes it easy to pose. Tightening bolts is fairly easy with a few small incisions. The Spine is encased in a plastic tube so if you have to tighten the spine you will have to cut a square out.

The only down side to this doll would be keeping it clean. The absorbent nature of the fabric can make it a magnet to allergens and stains. Lint rollers and plush cleaner is a must for this doll.

Learn how to sew. It is a good skill to have and can help you maintain and improve this doll with ease.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and posting the surgery photos..Now I know why moving Spirits legs remind me of folding down the handle on my lawn mower.

Another point to note is the Allen Wrench bolts on the hip area.
Those tighten and loosen for leg rotation.

I didn't realize they used a molded foam core. I thought the dolls were just carefully stuffed. No wonder they have such a good shape to them. Trying to DIY a plushy doll using loose foam and have it come out like a factory foam doll would be a challenge.

You could just go with layers and a bit of shaping using a sander and knife, take your time and sculpt it to how you want it. Gonna see about building a skeleton and doing just that myself.

I'm probably going to use foam pool noodles for the arms, legs and spine. Maybe attach some to the sides of the spine foam as well to eat up more core space. I just picked up some of the Jumbo size at Walmart for $1.00 ea.
That's a lot of foam for $1.00. Can't buy a Foam Kit and make that much foam for $1.00
