it’s happening again!

doll meet at Dees place part two

ROCKTOBER!

If you missed us last time and your close to Northern California we’re going to do it again
Saturday October 5th at Zhen’s castle (its a tiny castle)

I already have a few of the spring attendees on the list (you know who you are)

We have room for a couple more, if your a known active picture posting member here at TDF you would be welcome to attend, only for everyone’s safety and privacy all new attendees will be voted in by attending group

This will start early am and go into the night on Saturday
the theme for this meet is Rock and Roll baby!
There will be guitars and amps and we may actually make noise with them
Wine! Lots of it! That seems to be the popular beverage among our group although we will have beer on ice and non alcoholic for those driving. :drinking:

Food! Dees has been known to work the grill pretty well

Dolls! Um yea lots and lots of them! Little ones, big ones, all brands silicone and tpe, and they’re all smokin hot! Trust me on this!

if they are allowed on TDF they will be here! So of course bring your gal!

The last two meets we’ve had this year have been a complete hit I’m sure this one will be as well

Excellent,

remember to get some more great decent and sequenced video footage as well, as I enjoy making those event videos for you guys, and it is a bloody good thing I just uploaded both the Jazz and the hard rock versions of of Aerosmith in the music topic to, plus some groovy Cash/Elvis and Van Halen Elvis experiments too!

Try not to laugh at the guitarist doing a guitar solo on the cello too much...I know my professor will be face palming that one

his should be a great event, and looks like time to get composing another event theme song, do not worry, I got plenty of musical ammo and instruments in the melodic armory!

Yes mate, in the Bridge of Dream on ...the Jazz swing version we did...I think it works well!

Hard though, very different string dynamics and high action, compared to tars.

and then the Girly comes in on the next one, once I can teach her the song, so these are pretty easy to do, so you guys can play along...basic rocker blues scales.

Like I said starting soft, and it will build and you better believe, it will have Johnny be good, and then go harder from there for when the wines and beers take hold...and the gals will be dancing!

I should be able to stay longer this time.
Been on top of the whole S-A-D thing recently.

Rock and Roll is a theme we can do well.

hey Dee's if I had a spare 10 K ozzy, better health for a big trip, and No Uni and Band commitments, I would be there with Tars on!

Anyhow , got the Byrdland Hybrid back out, and the Leviathan Instrument Aust. custom fretless 6 bass back out (I do not have room for a full double bass, and between the 6 and the Kraken 15 we got the tone and range covered), and my other guitarist pal, is a bloody good bass player too!

Thanks Man, glad you liked it, we are really enjoying experimenting, and after the disaster that was my backyard jam version of that, the redo, came out Purrrrfect! And those Meow's...grrrrrrrrr...Catwoman from Gotham should take note of that!

Kimber is still a learner, so she has lots of practice to do yet before venturing out as a session guitar specialist mate, and the lightning guitar is called Electra.

She is a Paul Gilbert sycamore custom, and is useless for anything but speed and shred in current set up (as the action is run so low, with tapered down fret crowns from Fret 17 back into to the body to 22, for string clearance).

So as for tars (including bass's I think we hitting around 30 or so), all set up and tuned differently for different applications and tones.

Working into some rockabilly and rock swing as we gradually build the play list intensity.

Cheers and I will drop them in as they are done, we set aside 5 songs for free time jams, at rehearsals to play with the more classical toys, and the guys (and girl) are enjoying this...me too...Lily just swoons!
