for bits of a life-sign. Stains turned out to be more persistent than hoped, so got to try something different starting tomorrow. Final repairs will start thereafter, in case of success with the stains. To make matters worse she also accumulated some water, likely through holes in the butt (at waist-thigh joints) from washing maybe. So my advice to any new doll owner, take more care of your gal than I did!

actually planned to refrain from posting any more pics before I´m done with my anti-stain and repair campaign. But was in the mood. Don´t be unpleasantly surprised to see things you don´t like to be seen usually. Doll owner´s realities. This will be it for longer time now.

thanks! Actually not struggling, but rather leaving it purposely at expedient ATM. Since I´m changing "characters" oftenly (and spontaneously!), I need to remain flexible with both, eye brow colors and shapes. If I´m done with repairs I´ll start on some special customizing eybrows which I hope give me desired results then. MU as well is expedient (or crap if one prefers ) and next months will see me improving things quite noticably. Fingers crossed I get it all worked out soon.

bits of an update on Alyona (IT Selina head). The past months I´d more or less neglected eyebrow styling and better looking, longer lasting solutions. So here´s my first try with eyebrow filler gel, usually applied to sparse looking human eyebrows. It´s basically a glue mixed with hairs or fibre, ready to be applied where needed. There´s multiple available colors and I´d decided for a dark brown. (Note: can likely be self created by glue mixed with cut off hair from wigs etc)

What can be seen instantly is the unpleasant shinyness from the gel/glue and it won´t vanish when completely dried off. I´ll attempt to redo with semi permanent coloring of the eyebrow area with beard dye (as long lasting foundation) then putting on top the eyebrow gel again. Maybe then finalizing with a matte eyebrow pen. Currently waiting for the ordered stuff to arrive. Will likely take me several attempts but my goal is to have bits of a 3D effect while achieving good looking, good durability even for limited bedtime actions.

still not in good shape and some repair issues left unresolved, but some life signs should be in order I think. Her current "bedtime" outfit (to change weekly at least), no powder, MU and low intensity flash used. For eyebrows I now settled with a cheap tattoo eyebrow pen. A set that contains 3 colors (light brown to black). Although the brows wear off fairly quickly, I remain flexible when combining different hair colors with different brows and its styles. Not for pro photo shooting off course. Cheers
