Re: The first Lady of Dolls Barbie
I didn't know there were different types of Curvy Barbie.
Your Alexis has bendable elbows and knees.
My Aryna has no elbow or knee joints. She can only move her arms and legs.
It makes posing pretty limited.
She is in this months miniature contest playing Naked Hide and Seek.
However, I did enhance her nipples. I like how it turned out.
Thanks,
scooter

Yes they make a made to move curvy barbie now. I bought that and a second one that does not move and put the head of that one on the curvy barbie.

Re: The first Lady of Dolls Barbie
(I looked back at some of your previous posts and discovered I commented on some of your work when I was here a couple years ago. unfortunately the pictures are not still attached to the threads)
Ive been a fan of the made-to-moves since I discovered them... my profile pic (to the left) is my 2 dolls.
There was another one, mid 1990's, perhaps prior to the mtm's... available as a cheerleader with university outfits: (Somewhere she has lost her black pom-pom)
Unfortunately, her ankles and wrists are fixed... however, unlike most of the full size dolls and miniatures whose skeletons are hinged under the chest, this one is jointed at the waist which allows for hip movement unlike I have seen in most others.
Plus, she can rotate hips at more than 90 degrees.

Indeed, imagination, a dremel, some sandpaper and a file and who knows!OlmanOz wrote:It is amazing what the imagination can create even with a simple Barbie. Some wonderful pictures..
