Best Size For First Doll?

Hello TDF! After seeing the pictures and hearing the great reviews, I'm convinced I'll be purchasing a WM Doll in the near future. I hope one day I can have the pleasure of owning one of these beautiful dolls.

I know this is a subjective question, but which size would you recommend? The weight doesn't pose an issue for me, however I live in an apartment with limited spots to "hide" her. I really like the body of the 157 B and 166 C, but fear these may be too big to hide. I do like the 140 D, but fear this doll may be a little too small. Does anyone have any recommendations or other things to consider? Thank you!

Hi. I recently went through the joys of moving and in the process, I had multiple groups of people come through my apartment for a tour. I have a lovely WM155DD who typically spends most of her time sleeping on my bed.

While I have the WM storage case (absolutely buy it if you can, worth every penny), I didn't want to take her apart just yet. So instead, I pulled a trick from when I was a kid and I made her lay flat on her half of the bed, then I folded my quilt in half over her and added an extra blanket on top of that. Add some crumples and it just looks like a normal unmade bed. Had about 6-10 different people walk through the bedroom and never noticed a thing. If my girl's massive breasts can be hid, you should have no problems with the smaller breasted models.

Worst case scenario, you can take off the head and store the doll in the case (be careful with what clothing she is wearing), then put the case in a closet and put a blanket over it. Out of sight, out of mind.

That being said, it is far more important that you get the kind of doll that you like the look of best. You're dropping a lot of money on the doll, so make sure she passes the "man downstairs" test.

As far as height goes, I'm 5'7" and the 155CM is just about right for me. Works well for doggy/standing behind.

Depends on where you plan to store her, but there’s basically no difference about the body types you suggested, I mean sure a few inches, but as far as the fact that they will be pretty big , now say if you were consider a 100cm , that’s a big difference , if you want something smaller and easy to store then that’s where you wanna go , but if you want realism the 140 on up should do you just right .

I have 105cm to 168cm and I generally say the taller the better. My 140 gets little love with 157, 158, 168 around.

140 was my first, but the others are way sexier imho. Although even my 132 is sexier than 140. I feel like the 140 is slightly "thicc" and I like sleek/athletic girls. When I got 140, the other options were not around yet.

I feel like hiding 140 is not much less difficult than my 168 since I keep them all vertical standing against a wall (closet).

Having standing feet should help a lot with how to store her. Standing her in a closet with a pillow behind her to help protect her. I'm around 5'7" and a 157cm doll is a good height. I can hang her in my closet to store her. She doesn't have standing feet, so I don't know if I could have standing sex with her if she did. I have a 140cm fabric doll, and she is too short for standing sex. But she is just fine in the bed. I don't really notice her shortness. Weight is an issue for me, so I have thought to go smaller. But for your first doll, I think getting one at least with in a foot (30cm) of your own height is a safe bet. Everyone has different tastes though. Some prefer tall, or short, partners. I'm not sure where your tastes lie.

You said weight wasn't an issue, but I feel I should still recommend looking at dolls that weigh around 50lbs-60lbs (22kg-27kg). Especially if you plan on having sex with your doll. A lot of people are still surprised by the weight of there dolls when they arrive. I found 100lbs (45kg) very hard to manage. I'm healthy, but I don't work out at all. So I wouldn't say I'm fit. My 157cm doll weighs around 50lbs and I can manage her pretty easily. Still heavy, but manageable.

Keep in mind that, for height under realistic range, you would either like or hate. To be realistic, 145cm is a common height for short porn stars in the States. (you will be surprised how short a lot of them are if you visit one of the trade shows) Therefore, up to 145cm, you are still within the realistic range, anything shorter, you could have issues.

Hiding need some thoughts depending on your room. Do you only have a bed, or you can fit in a bench in your apartment? consider invest in one of the furniture, with storage underneath.

I see it around 5.2 or 160cm and above, 160cm seems to be the all rounder, . 145. thats really small actually. Most guys are prety tall, unless you are one those short guys. Make sure to have room and or closet space height if plan on closet storage. Go with whatever you like. Use tape measure for reference.

Just remember with height comes weight so just make sure you can handle the weight...

If you can handle the weight, definitely get a larger doll. The 140D was too small for me and was always nagging on my mind that i wish i had gotten a bigger one.

Yea weight can vary a lot from 60lbs-95 lb...27kg-40kg ish.

Like everything else, size/face are all subjective. If I had it to do allover again I'd still opt for a 158A or D cup girl. The body is wonderful and proportional. She doesn't look like she needs a lot of biscuits and beans and fried tators and her "lady parts" are sculpted well.

There are others I like but the weight is prohibited...like the 160CM D girl I had but don't anymore. At 85 pounds and a bum back it was all I could do to move her about. If you can handle the weight the full size girls WM has are wonderful. If I could heft that much weight I'd have this girl tomorrow....

I agree with GaleRazorwind, keep her laying on your bed (if you have a queen size) lay some large and thick comforters over her. The 166 is thin enough she will hide well under thick comforters/blankets. As GaleRazorwind said "looks like an unmade bed."

I'll chime in here. There has been good advice given here already. My first doll (only doll) is 140 katie. At 54 lbs i can handle the weight however even at this size i wish i got the standing feet option cause it might help dressing her. I'm 5'7" and I think she is a good cuddling size in bed for her 140cm height. It's easy to pick her up under her arms and hug her or hold her up by her bum. Hell i've even danced with her as she stood ontop of my feet.

That being said you need to realize this is total dead weight. There were times when i did not take the time to pose her correctly to help carry her and guess what - i broke her fingers cause she struck the doorframe to my room

@&$@! So whatever weight you choose be mindful of your spacial awareness.

The only limitation is you can't have standing sex. But without the standing feet option who knows if that would cause any damage.

None-the-less, the sculpt is great i feel she has great proportions i see her as a young woman in her 20's. As for hiding she usually sits in a closet, i have also wrapped her in her pink blanket and slid her under the bed but only for a few days.

Pic below, to me Kara is smoking hot especailly with summertime freckles and her nipple piercings (no you are not allowed to see them - but they are barbells).
