the original boxes may be great for contouring shape but..they weren't that neat to me so they got tossed.

these are pretty firm, and has a window. Hopefully they can keep bugs out.
these are Auriol watch boxes, they measure up ~ 4" x 4" x 12"

neat little black coffins / grave liners ;)

comes with lock and 2 keys, not air tight. The outer is black leather or such. They have nice black velour inner coating.
pretty deep, so they fit clothing and some accessories, and 'gym mat material' is fitted at the bottom, folded down under at the ends, to sort of support the neck/head, and feet/legs.

The models fit loose in the boxes, so they are not to be tossed around with, they were only stood up here for the picture snap.
The watch boxes also come with 5 wrist-spongies, and 4 dividers. The spongies could be cut into halves to make some sort of pillow, support or the likes..

Thank you MsMiller those are pretty cool and keeping our little ladies safe while not performing is key to longevity and damage free. Always remember that our little ladies are TPE and require care just like the big ladies. If you leave them in an action pose for to long, they will become misshaped and possible tear when reposed!

Where have all the sticky threads gone?

They were turned into regular treads. Still here but they are just regular threads now. TDF just doing some house cleaning!

Speaking of storage. As I am running out of storage and want to use all the space available I went back to Phicen Towers Building #2. A structural analysis indicated a lot of wasted space, It was then my feeble brain recalled my wifes closet and her tower of shoes..

As luck would have it the one I found was the exact size for my wasted space. Since I try to keep types together figured the best figures for this storage would be the soft footed dolls, mostly.

Add to it the hanging door shoe tree for another 10 slots. I put my current cast there so no more hunting for specific figures for my slow rolling story..

After seeing Hollows fantastic review he posted on my Phicen's thread of his new beautiful new seamless 1/6 scale lady it dawned on me that excluding other brands from this post was dumb. Just like me asking Hollow's to post on my thread instead of here. So I will attempted to replicate his post!
hollows+fentiman wrote:I’m just going to post an ‘interlude’ in Owen’s story as Lone asked me to do a ‘mini’ review on my new 1/6 LDDoll ages ago and I’ve been trying to put something together for a week or two now! My Nikon didn’t seem to want to play ball with lighting though, so I’ve now taken photos with my iPad! You’ll have to forgive me as some of them may come out sideways or upside down which is a stupid Apple thing depending on the orientation of the iPad!

This is a long post so pick out what you think is useful for you or not! The TDF photo allowance means this will be at least a couple of posts so bear with me!

I ordered her from AliExpress via the Winstartoy site. If you’ve ever tried searching on AliExpress you’ll know it’s a bit of a nightmare and lottery as to what comes up! I was finding the same doll at different prices and different ‘options’ but the hardest thing was trying to actually order the option I wanted! The main options are body only with no makeup or finger bones to full makeup with head plus finger bones and ‘secret’ hole with about three other options between.

There are some on eBay but they are more expensive and as it’s an expensive doll to start with I went for AliExpress. I then got a message from the seller so I had a few emails back and forth trying to sort out exactly what I wanted! Apparently, there are a number of makes that seem to have the same photos which is confusing to say the least!

I first saw a Unique Doll 4.0 posted by a former member back in 2017 but searching for them at the time seemed to have prices around £400. After seeing Lone’s photo from his friend on FB I started another search as I was convinced it wasn’t a ‘modified’ Phicen as it looked like it had seamless hands. There’s LDDoll, Unique Doll, Obitsu, Estartek and Evoke plus a few more. What I haven’t worked out is exactly who makes any of them or whether they are actually the same in some cases - typical Chinese obscurity but even some come from Japan! Anyway, they seemed to be able to do either LD or Evoke so I ordered and waited......the seller’s message is that you have to agree to a 30 day wait for manufacture/painting.

However, AliExpress have a weird tracking system! As the Russians deal a lot with them there is an arrangement with them. When I went to the tracking it launches into a .ru site and everything is in Russian with no English option so I abandoned that! I got an email eventually from AliExpress saying she had arrived in my country (not!) so wait till I hear from my postal system........which I did two weeks later saying they’d heard from The Netherlands that a parcel was for me. Another week or so and she did eventually arrive!

OK, Sena arrived in a substantial outer cardboard box, which was good! Why it was posted to The Netherlands first I have no idea!

The inner box was also very good and stronger than the usual Phicen or Jiaou box. As you can hopefully make out there are different size options available with different bust sizes too!

Inside she was packed in a bubble tube with accessories alongside. Her feet were bent at an angle but otherwise she was ok and no damage caused by the box probably being thrown around!

OK, here’s a bit of disappointment for me.......I’m not too enamoured with the body makeup. It says on the box ‘soft red’ which is NOT what I thought I’d ordered. I did want her paler. The highlights are like a rusty red and in some light she doesn’t look very natural but overall I’m very fond of her and I’ve got used to the colour now!

The skeleton is different though. I think from the enclosed leaflet it’s probably tubular and feels thicker than a Phicen or Jiaou. The joints are tight and work well but, again, different to the others. They seem to be able to move in any direction - like sideways for instance! The shoulders can be ‘shrugged’ and wrists rotated plus the waist etc. All in all, movement is similar to the others.

Her weight is 246 grams and so similar to the other dolls I’ve photoed here at 244, 298 and my ‘big’ Florrie at 324 grams!

Of course, one of the main differences are the seamless hands and moveable fingers. The fingers have very small wires in them but even so they are well moulded and pretty realistic for their size too! The ‘nail ends’ aren’t painted so I may do that in future perhaps. Time will tell if the wires stand up long term but I don’t plan to work them too hard so I’m fairly confident they will last. They move and stay posed easily as you can imagine but just a small bump can bend them out of place so a little care is needed! They seem to have enough grip to hold things!

The seamless flesh feet are similar to others I have.

She also has a ‘secret’ hole which is about a centimetre deep. As the skeleton is different though there seems to be a lot of flesh there so if anyone wants to deepen it I would imagine that’s possible with care. The end of a Phicen penis does just about fit in though with a little lubrication!

I do like the boobs though! They have a better shape in my opinion than most of the other seamless dolls I have - although don’t tell them that! The nipples are also more pronounced and nicer.

The body definition is very good too with a lovely little belly button just to round it off!

All in all, I’m very happy with her! Would I buy another?......maybe when I’ve saved up enough money perhaps but not for a while!

By the way, if you look at the box photo you’ll see there are various sizes and bust sizes too! The smaller ones don’t have moveable fingers and tend to come with anime heads. They also do 1/3 scale seamless with similar specifications although they don’t state ‘secret hole’ in the models I could find and they also seem to have anime heads. However, they’ll set you back a lot of money!

Cheers, Hollows.

Edit! I’m so sorry but it seems some of the photos have posted in the wrong place so you’ll have to sort out what goes where with the text! I don’t know what happened there but I’m not going to start again!

Fun thing is that they are easy to put on, and when on, it makes dressing significantly easier too.
I have a dollalbum, with loads of nice pics. My twinsister Erika has her own album, which also has some pics of me hanging out with her. We have our own thread where we post our pics. Stop by and say Hi!

Don't forget to take a look at my girlfriend Juliana.

My Lexi visits lots of places. Allison is featuring in her travels. Allison has her own thread too.

Thanks! That took a lot of work!! Funny as you can see how hard it is to get heads and bodies in perfect scale.
