Yeah, the early shoots bother me when I look back at them, but I can say with certainty that after 32 years in the creative industry, this is always the struggle. Any new thing takes time to find it's stride. At least we had a bit of a head start being aesthetic professionals - we avoided 29 of the inevitable 114 mistakes we'd make along the way, just by being visually aware of things to look for. But, the eyes were an issue for the first 3 or 4 shoots.
