I never saw a male doll that looks like that, it is pretty unique. My realdoll is bigger and more tan. It’s amazing that the doll in that pic looks kind of androgynous and muscular, very unique mix.

He is very handsome. Larry arrived Thursday morning and he is so awesome! Pics really don’t do the dolls justice. Once I saw him in person, so to speak, it really blew me away. And boy is he heavy! Moving him around is going to take some getting used to. Poor Larry, last night when putting him away for the night, his knees buckled when my HH tried to stand and lean him against the wall. I don’t think I straightened his legs well enough. He is slouched in his camping chair and looks drunk LOL.

Yeah, I will just deal with the weight issue. I will purchase another patient lift. I found that using techniques one would use in taking care of of actual handicapped people work pretty well. Poor Larry. It is true that it is difficult to capture in photos how the dolls look in person. Unless you are really, really good or a professional photographer. Getting better at photos is something I want to work on

Not yet. Just started the shipping process. Here are production pics from the manufacturer. He is light tan/medium. May look dark due to the lighting. I have already named him Luca. They gave him a little beauty mark near his upper lip, which I love because I also have one in that exact area (and there was no way they would have known that!). His eye position needs a bit of straightening, unless it's just the photo angle.

As for photos, take loads! The more you take the better you’ll get! Also, there are five monthly photo challenges you could enter and it would be great to have a full sized male doll enter! I don’t think we’ve had one as far as I can recall! The challenges are just that....they help you get better at photography and poses every month and there are lots of very good photographers there that can help!
