As long as we can take a doll with us when driving from mainland Europe into the UK, there is no issue. I don't think that anything will be changed at the French/British border by September when we have our 2019 European Doll Meet.
Having the meet in the UK has two big advantages, first as already explained by Kharn we do have a perfect place for the meet, and second is that we jointly organise the doll meet with the UK forum, so we have a nice group of doll enthusiasts and many dolls.

If there is a possibility to organise a doll meet at mainland Europe, this may be interesting. But please know it won't be easy to find a doll friendly place, where privacy is guaranteed and where a nice group of members is willing to go, and will be served.

But please, back on-topic, this thread is about TDF's 2019 European Doll Meet, this September, in the UK.

I shouldn't have thought there'd be a problem crossing the Channel, at least for this year.

Anyway, back on topic, Lynne and I will be there - we booked while we were there last year. We're booked for three night, but I'll have to check nearer the time as to what holiday leave I can get from work, at worst it'll be just two nights...

I already booked the Eurotunnel -they offered free cancellation, just in case.
So I'll be there too, not sure which doll will join me this year. Hopefully Kharn will be there too, and one of our US friends!

This is gonna be a first doll meet and I've booked three nights. I intend to bring Mara with me.

There was an offer when doing the booking in March, for traveling to/from the UK up until the end of September. They called it your Brexit-proof holiday
I don't know if this offer is extended. But bookings with Eurotunnel are easy to change, not sure but if I'm correct you can change dates up to six months. In the past I often changed my bookings.

Do they ever have this type of meet in the usa?

I'm not sure yet, often they decide a bit closer to the meet if they join us.

There's still a room available at the meet location.

The Doll Meet is basically a meet&greet for TDF members and their dolls -although it is not necessary to bring a doll.
It's a great opportunity to meet some of the guys and dolls. There's no formal program, we just have some fun, photoshoots, drinks and food.

This year's European/UK Doll Meet is held on 13-15 September in the UK.
